Well, if they only wanted questions and not “speeches” fine. But to rewrite the kids question? It should be noted that this might not be the entire truth. But, frankly, the way CNN has devolved into a leftist propaganda outlet, I would not be surprised at all.
I know the town hall that CNN had was heavily stacked towards pro- gun control people. Was that an accident? Was it to paint an image that most people support more gun laws? Again, the second option would not surprise me.
I would like to say that Dana Loesch deserves major credit for going in that town hall and bringing facts, presented in a very respectful manner. She did not lose her temper, although the behavior by the crowd was sad. She just kept bringing facts. I hope that although the town hall was stacked to one side that people watching noted who brought facts, and thoughtfulness, and who brought anger, emotion, and displayed an inability to listen and debate.
UPDATE! Apparently Dana Loesch needed security to even get out of the town hall
NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch said Thursday morning at CPAC that she wouldn’t have been able to exit last night’s town hall on the Parkland, Fla. school shooting if she didn’t have a security detail. Loesch faced off with students who survived the shooting at a CNN-hosted forum.
“I want to make this super obvious point,” Loesch said. “The government has proven that they cannot keep you safe. And yet, some people want all of us to disarm. You heard that town hall last night. They cheered the confiscation of firearms. And it was over 5,000 people.”
“I had to have a security detail to get out,” she said of the Sunrise, Fla. event. “I wouldn’t be able to exit that if I didn’t have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming burn her. And I came there to talk solutions and I still am going to continue that conversation on solutions as the NRA has been doing since before I was alive.”
Again, the tolerant left and their super inclusive mob mentality
