…But It Helps.
Case in point is this mockery of a manger scene in Claremont, California
The story, from Claremont, California:
Nativity scenes have a few standard elements: a manger, swaddling clothes, happy parents, sheep, maybe the Three Wise Men. They don’t generally include Trayvon Martin.
But there he is, wearing a hoodie, a stream of blood pouring from his chest onto the straw-covered floor of the scene outside Claremont United Methodist Church, the holy family around him.
What does the birth of Jesus Christ have to do with a hoodlum getting himself shot while trying to bash out the brains of a community watch captain against the sidewalk?
For one thing, the backdrop to the Christmas story is the slaughter by King Herod of all infants in Bethlehem, a barbarous attempt to kill the Messiah.
Rather than tidings of comfort and joy, that time of year would have seen “other parents in agony because their children had just been killed,” a plaque explains.
The Martyrdom of Saint Skittles was traumatic for the artist.
“What if Jesus was lying there bleeding to death? I was kind of thinking of that,” Zachary said.
It is easy to just chalk this up to Liberal stupidity, but there is something deeper at work here. When the Trayvon Martin case caught national attention the Left falsely portrayed in the light they wanted to portray it in. Martin was an innocent Black kid just trying to get home. He was racially profiled, hunted down, and killed in cold blood by a crazy, gun-totin’ racist White man. Of course the left got all of those “facts” wrong but yet they continued to peddle their lies as facts. Still today, they stick to their assumptions even though they are demonstrably untrue. And, in 10, or 20 years, Leftists will still be telling their version of the Trayvon Martin case.
Why are they so backasswards? They KNOW they are lying, but they still continue. For the usual suspects like Al Sharpton, Je$$e Jackson, the NAACP, and the MSNBS gang the reason is simple. They perpetuate such fallacies to sell books, get ratings, get donations, or to help Left-Wing candidates win elections etc.. But what of the folks who are not on TV, or radio, or running for office? Why do they continue to not only believe false narratives, but to absolutely CRAVE such narratives to be true? Do they enjoy seeing themselves as perpetual victims? Do they prefer to believe that America is so deeply flawed that racism will never go away? Apparently so. It is tragic that so many Liberals, given the choice between facts, and emotionalistic talking points based in lies, will flock to the false, emotionalistic narratives.
Liberalism is, after all an ideology for pessimists who want to be victims more than they want to be honest.

As Christians from across the globe flock to the Holy Land in time for Christmas prayers and ceremonies, some in the community in Nazareth are seeking to reaffirm the historical importance of their town by erecting a statue of Jesus that would tower more than 100 feet above the city.
The idea for the statue comes from Bishara Shlayan, a Christian merchant seaman who lives in Nazareth, the childhood home of Jesus. Shlayan has seen the demographics of Nazareth change considerably in recent years, with the Christian community becoming a minority while the Muslim population has grown to 70 percent of the 80,000 residents of the northern Israeli town.
“Slowly, but surely, the Christian identity in Nazareth is beginning to disappear,” said Shlayan, noting that signs in the main square declare that “There is no power but Allah.”
The plan is for the statue of Jesus to be sit atop Mount Precipice, also known as the Mount of the Leap of the Lord, the promontory where according to Luke 4:29-30, a mob attempted to drive Jesus off the hilltop only for him to pass through them without injury. Shlayan is raising money for the project, but recently got what may be even more important backing: Israel’s Tourism Minister Uzi Landau gave him the green light, saying, “Start it, and we will bless it.”
“I don’t believe in statues, but it is a symbol of love and peace,” Shlayan told The Jerusalem Post. “People who are against it, it comes from jealousy.”
The statue is inspired by the iconic Christ the Redeemer figure that dominates the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, but would be even taller, said Shlayan.
Hey, just asking a question here. And of course, I will be called “intolerant” by those who cannot tolerate any opposing views. Like I say, Liberals always accuse others of what the Liberals themselves are most guilty of. Don’t think so? Liberals always scream intolerance while themselves refusing to offer tolerance towards views or lifestyles they disagree with. Liberals rant about insensitivity, yet it is they who refuse to be the least bit sensitive. Inclusion? Liberals always preach a message of inclusion while excluding Conservatives. How about Statism? Liberals rave on about how we Conservatives are Statists, yet it is Liberals who call for and support the vast majority of Statist legislation.
I am so tired of these weasel Progressive’s, and equally tired of people who try to appease them
You can’t take Jesus out of “Silent Night,” you pathetic secular public school demons.
Regressive leftists at work.
Gateway Pundit has it, “Long Island School Removes Words From Silent Night – Too Offensive (Video).” (Via Memeorandum.)
Funny how the same folks screeching about tolerance possess not the first shred of it themselves.
Roland Martin is a sad case, so hooked on racializing everything as if skin color is the most important thing about everyone, even Santa Claus
Via CNS News:
“News One Now” host Roland Martin said Friday on the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” that Fox News’ Megyn Kelly’s remark that Santa Claus and Jesus are white reinforced to black and Hispanic kids that they live in a “white world,” and they don’t matter.
“Doesn’t it just reinforce though to your point growing up as a child, you seeing these images, it reinforces where for black kids and Hispanic kids, it’s, ‘Look, accept that this is a white, white world and you don’t matter,’” Martin asked Slate writer Aisha Harris, author of the article, “Santa Should Not Be a White Man Anymore.”
Kelly did a segment about Harris’ Slate article, which challenged the notion of Santa being white. Harris wrote about growing up with images of a black Santa on Christmas decorations at home while the public celebrated a white Santa.
Roland you silly bastard, if you were not suffering from Racial Obsession Syndrome (ROS) it might dawn on you that if racist victim mongers like you would leave kids alone, and stop filling their heads with your divisive venom, they would look at Santa, and just enjoy being a kid at Christmas. Certainly I pity you Roland that you were obviously victimized by race baiters as a child. Sad that you have grown up continuing to see your race as the most important thing about you. Get the fuck over yourself and your pigmentation Roland. For the love of God, stop making skin color something it is not, important. Character Roland, THAT matters. Integrity, THAT matters! Skin color? that DOES NOT matter! And guess what Roland, you know what the saddest thing is? If you read this you would call me racist for saying that skin color is unimportant. You would do so because you have been conditioned by Leftism to do so. Again, it is tragic that you are just not bright enough to see through the lies the left has told you.
By the way Roland, I should point out that Santa Claus is based on Saint Nicholas who was WHITE! Not that that matters. Because in my world, I can admire people regardless of skin color, it is sad that you cannot. It must be a very dark, ugly world where you live, I pray that you get over your obsession with skin color one day. You would likely be a nice man were you to see people as something other than skin color.
I am going with my sister and brother-in-law to take the world’s best niece to see Santa, who yes IS White, at Bass Pro shops today, and later we are taking her to a cool park with thousands of Christmas lights, so blogging will be light today.
I might also be forced to check out the gun selection at Bass Pro, and see if they have any good deals on ammo, I mean as long as I am there.
Ever wonder what would have happened if we had stood up to Atheist bullies instead of appeasing their intolerance?

The Baby Jesus has been kicked off Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, according to an organization who relishes any opportunity to eradicate Christianity from the U.S. military.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation praised officials at Shaw Air Force Base for removing a Nativity scene located near Memorial Lake on Friday. The traditional Nativity included plastic statues of Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus and an assortment of animals.
Apparently, an undisclosed number of Airmen were so emotionally troubled by the sight of a manger scene that they immediately notified the MRFF.
I can only imagine the psychological damage they must have suffered as a result of glancing at the plastic statues. I hope no one needed hospitalization, God forbid.
The MRFF’s Paul Loebe wrote in a statement that since the display was not erected near a chapel, it was illegal. […]
Loebe swiftly alerted MRFF President Mikey Weinstein who then called his BFF’s at the Pentagon. That led to an immediate investigation and more than two hours later, the Nativity had been removed.
