I wish McCain would go after Democrats like he does actual Conservatives Via The Right Scoop
In his big CPAC speech, Ted Cruz said the following:
You want to lose elections? Stand for nothing. Look at the last four congressional elections, in ’06, ’08, ’10′, and ’12. In 3 of the four we followed that strategy. In ‘06, ‘08 and ‘12, we put our head down, we stood for nothing and we got walloped.
The one election that was a tremendous election was 2010, when Republicans drew a line in the sand. We said we stand unequivocally against Obamacare, against bankrupting the country, and we won an historic tidal wave of an election.
And of course then all of us remember President Dole, and President McCain, and President Romney. Now look those are good men, those are decent men — but when you don’t stand and draw a clear distinction, when you don’t stand for principle, Democrats celebrate.
McCain went on MSNBC today and said that Ted Cruz crossed a line and should apologize to Bob Dole:
He can say what he wants to about me, and he can say anything he wants to, I think, about Mitt – Mitt’s capable of taking it. But when he throws Bob Dole in there, I wonder if he thinks that Bob Dole stood for principle on that hilltop in Italy when he was so gravely wounded and left part of his body there fighting for our country?
This is why I said McCain sounds like a slimy Democrat because this is exactly what slimy Democrats do. McCain goes on MSNBC to attack Cruz and suggest that he doesn’t respect the military sacrifice that Dole gave for this country. How dare he!
Again, Senator McCain, please shut up.

It’s been debated for five years, and the conventional wisdom has generally concluded that Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, hurt Sen. John McCain’s chances to beat then-Sen. Barack Obama for the presidency with her outsized and controversial personality.
But now a comprehensive new analysis of the so-called “Palin Effect” finds that in the final analysis, the former Alaska governor helped McCain by attracting more voters to the ticket, crushing a mainstream media view.
What’s more, while she attracted wider press attention than most prior veep candidates, her actual impact for a No. 2 was about average.
“Palin had a positive effect on McCain,” according to the new Palin analysis in the authoritative Political Research Quarterly.
Digesting mountains of data, two political science professors from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., said their findings showed that the conventional wisdom that independent voters ran from the McCain-Palin ticket was wrong. They found that independent voters had the same reaction to Palin as Republicans, who largely liked her.
Both findings could provide a basis for a 2016 run for the presidency by the Tea Party favorite.
“Palin did not have a negative effect on McCain’s voter share overall, nor did she result in eroded support for McCain among critical swing voters such as independents and moderates,” the duo wrote.
Their analysis picked apart a recent report that Palin drove off voters and was uniquely divisive, claiming it was flawed.
Instead, it found that Palin “did not have a unique or unprecedented influence on the race; at best, she had precisely the same small effect on vote choice in 2008 that we would expect of any running mate.”
Do Liberals ever tire of bashing the South? Of course not, after all, the South IS the most Conservative part of the country, and the most patriotic. And the Left will never forgive the South for taking a stand against a power hungry federal government. McCain has the scoop
[T]he South is once again committed to taking a backward path. By refusing to expand health care for the working poor through Medicaid, which is paid for by the federal government under Obamacare, most of the old Confederacy is committed to keeping millions of its own fellow citizens in poverty and poor health. They are dooming themselves, further, as the Left-Behind States.
Just another historical illiterate who thinks Washington has a grove of money trees or something. McCain eviscerates this tool
Do you believe this? “Free” money from the federal government? Medicaid as a job-creation dynamo? While I have not bothered to dig down on the data here, the basic economics of it is like saying that if you take $5 out of your pants pocket and put it in your coat pocket, you will then have $10. Government has no money of its own to spend. Every cent expended by government must come either from tax revenue or from borrowing, and borrowing — i.e., deficit spending — is ultimately a drag on economic growth, because capital invested in government bonds (which is how deficit spending is financed) is capital not invested in private-sector businesses.
The liberal belief in “free government money” is like one of those quasi-religious magical thinking exercises that Ace discusses here.
To cite X-number of people signing up for “expanded Medicaid” as “success” is simply to say that if you’re giving away the taxpayers’ money, moochers will gladly take their share of the loot.
Is the South doomed to be the “Left-Behind States”? Next time you hear of someone moving from Texas to Detroit, let me know.
Via The Other McCain who notes that Alec’s temper tantrums are too much for even MSNBS
Evil Blogger Lady calls attention to the shocking news — shocking! — that the network suits aren’t eager for a return to Baldwinism:
Alec Baldwin is not welcome back at MSNBC because of his infamous angry behavior, network insiders say — including complaining that “the air at 30 Rock is too dry.”
Sources exclusively tell us that MSNBC chiefs are not exactly falling over themselves to get boisterous Baldwin back in the building. One insider said, “He would only show up at work an hour a week to prep for the show, and when he did turn up, he was in an angry mood, red-faced, and shouting at all the staff. And he said the air at 30 Rock was too dry, it was bad for his voice, he needed a humidifier.” .
Poor, poor Alec, it is so sad that not everyone understands how entitled he is.

Here is the Tweet from a Racially Obsessed Moonbat and Matt’s response, which is dead on target!
I’ve said before that liberals have a rather narrowly defined world view. Thanks to critical theory, AKA, Political Correctness, AKA, Cultural Marxism, liberals subsist on a victim narrative. In their little world, someone is always exploiting or abusing someone else, and even good news is bad news, because someone’s good news created bad news for someone else. So, this little kid got to be Batman, but to make that happen, some little dark skinned kid must have been deprived of something. I know, it’s asinine, but liberals always look stupid when they try and shove any possible story into their victim narrative. But that won’t keep them from trying.
This also qualifies my belief that Liberalism is an ideology for the pessimistic folks in society. Think about it, is there any group that loves them some pity parties more than Liberals?

Hookers and Booze has a thought
When so many cultural institutions, from the news media to Hollywood to your local university campus, are utterly dominated by liberal Democrats, there inevitably arises a stigma toward conservative ideas and Republican politics. When people are hammered day after day by the relentless partisanship of what the late Andrew Breitbart called the “Democrat-Media Complex,” when movies and TV sitcoms habitually mock or demonize Republicans, when conservative college students are afraid of their liberal professors and radical campus activists, who can blame anyone for thinking there is something wrong with being a Republican? Cast under this shadow of stigma and suspicion, many Republicans seem to internalize the negative stereotype of themselves, to become defensive and apologetic — “Please don’t hate me” — and generally to act as if they are guilty of doing something wrong. . . .
Please read the whole thing. Republicans who send out signals of weakness and fear are, in effect, inviting attacks. And because so many Republicans lack either the courage to fight back or the skill to fight back successfully, their enemies are emboldened.
Sad but true, we have to all develop stiffer spines, McCain explains
Organizations have images — reputations — and if a negative perception develops, that perception tends to become self-perpuating. The Republican Party is currently perceived as an organization of selfish, cowardly losers, and this makes it difficult for the GOP to attract support from people who admire generosity, strength and success. The party is increasingly defined by its whining pathetic supporters.
From the perspective of the neurasthenic weaklings who now run Republican politics, anyone who wants to stand up and fight for principles is considered a troublemaker. Ted Cruz? Mike Lee? Rand Paul? No, the GOP leadership doesn’t want to elect people like that. They want smooth-talking sellouts like Lindsey Graham and good ol’ boys like Mitch McConnell who understand that the job of Republicans is to “compromise” by giving Democrats everything they want.
Well, who in their right mind would fight on behalf of a such a party? Who would risk their reputation, their comfort, perhaps even their livelihood, to defend the Republican Party, when the party itself is run by wimps who only care about their own re-election?
Think about this: When Lady Liberty and Sister Toldjah came under fire by North Carolina Democrats, did anybody in the North Carolina GOP apparatus stand up for them? Hell, no.
You cannot win in political combat by continually retreating. If you ever hope to win, you must first determine to fight. And once you’re in the fight, you must never stop fighting until you win.
In short, they attack us because we, or too many of us bury our heads in the sand, or refuse to rally around those few that DO stand up. Another problem is that we, as a party, are too ready to throw the “wacko birds” under the bus to appease our “friends across the aisle. Newsflash, those folks across the aisle are not our friends. The see us not as friends, but as ENEMIES. And frankly, we have to face up to reality and grasp that anyone who considers us THEIR enemy, is, by definition OUR enemy!
Before you say something
stupid, really stupid, Uh-Oh too late
Via USA Today:
Even Republican senators are starting to ask: Where is Joe Biden?
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., while calling for President Obama to get more involved in shutdown and debt ceiling talks — “I hope the president will get more engaged” — also told CBS’ Face The Nation:
“Maybe we need to get Joe Biden out of the witness protection program.”
Biden, a senator for 36 years before becoming vice president, played a key role in agreements to resolve previous standoffs over the debt ceiling, government funding, and so-called fiscal cliff.
The vice president has kept a low profile during the current dispute, in part because President Obama has said he will not negotiate on what he calls Congress’ responsibilities to keep the government open and increase the debt ceiling.
There goes “Maverick” again, good grief!
Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., one of the leaders of a GOP “moderate revolt” on Monday, says he can never forgive Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, for leading an effort to defund Obamacare as part of a budget resolution.
“This was a doomed process from the start,” King told CNN on Monday. King said he went along with a vote to defund the Affordable Care Act because he was told it would get the ball rolling and prevent the government from shutting down.
“It’s obvious now there is no end in sight,” King told CNN. “This is a fool’s errand.”
“They live in these narrow echo chambers where they listen to themselves and their tea party friends, and that keeps them going, forgetting that the rest of the country thinks we’re crazy,” King said. “I can never forgive Ted Cruz for what he’s done and the people who stood with him against their party.”
I get it. King and other Republicans believe that standing strong to principles will hurt the GOP. But really, do king and McCain and the rest think that putting politics over principles will get more people to support them? Maybe they should, for once, pay attention to who is saying the GOP will be hurt by this. The Democrats are, the media is. Do these Republicans who are so deeply offended by Senators like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz really not grasp that listening to advice from Democrats is not a wise path to travel? Has it ever dawned on them that Democrats are saying what they are BECAUSE they are afraid the GOP will unite behind Conservatism, for once?
I may not be a politician, but I know that taking advice from your enemies on how to beat them is not going to end well for you. I also know that voters are not going to flock to a party that not only shows no backbone, but attacks their own when they do.
Republicans Conservatives let me ask this question. With friends like John McCain, Democrats like Harry Reid have an easier time destroying out health care, and our liberty.
Alleged Republican John McCain responded to Ted Cruz’s heroic attempt to stop ObamaCare by speaking apparently at the behest of Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid. Tune in at around 4:20 in the video below and hear this:
“I’d remind my colleagues that in the 2012 election, ObamaCare … was a subject that was a major issue in the campaign. … Well, the People spoke… and they reelected the president of the United States. Now that doesn’t mean we give up our efforts to try to replace and repair ObamaCare. But it does mean that elections have consequences, and those elections were clear … a majority of the American people supported the president of the United States… I think all of us should respect the outcome of elections, which reflects the will of the People.”
Oh Senator McCain, are you obsessed with getting patted on the head by Democrats, who, trust me, would throw you under the bus in an instant, that you would say that the American people VOTED for Obamacare? Really? Tell you what senator, show me one damn poll from before that abomination was
passed shoved down our throats, while it was being forced upon us or since it’s passage, that shows most Americans supporting Obamacare! It is clear that WE the PEOPLE, do NOT want Obamacare. But, Senator, you are correct about one thing, elections DO have consequences. Especially when we elect political cowards.
Senator McCain, I wish you could attack Democrats with even half the fervor you assail Conservatives with!
I suppose it never dawned on Senator Maverick that the Jihadists might lie to him.
Via Daily Caller:
Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain hotly disputed a study claiming that at least half of Syria’s rebels are radical jihadis, repeatedly exclaiming “Not true, not true!”
“Frankly, I just disagree,”McCain told the Council on Foreign Relations audience, challenging the contention by defense consultancy IHS Jane’s that “the insurgency is now dominated by groups with at least an Islamist viewpoint of the conflict.”
“There’s about 70 percent still who are Free Syrian Army,” McCain said, flipping on its head the consulting firm’s research showing that just 30 percent are fighting for secular values.
McCain has frequently called for an increase in arms shipments to rebels groups fighting the Assad regime, and on Tuesday evening he sought to diminish concerns that these arms may one day be turned against the United States or its allies.
“The point, I think, that you and others are missing,” he told the questioner, “[is that] Syria is a moderate nation. Syria has the highest literacy rate of any nation in the Middle East. They are not going to submit to a jihadis or al-Qaida group governing them. They will not.”
“That’s a really a convenient cop-out to say, ‘Oh, we don’t know who they are,’” he continued angrily. “I know who they are. I was in Syria and I met them.”
Yep, you met them, and I am sure they were completely open and honest right Senator? I mean they would most assuredly never just tell you what you wanted to hear.
1389 has a stunning post up you have to read.
What if Bashar didn’t do it?
Sit tight, ’cause I’ve got a story by a man whose credibility is intact and beyond repute. His name is Yossef Bodansky. He “is an Israeli-American political scientist who served as Director of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare of the US House of Representatives from 1988 to 2004. He is also Director of Research of the International Strategic Studies Association and has been a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
“In the 1980s, he served as a senior consultant for the Department of Defense and the Department of State. He is also a senior editor for the Defense and Foreign Affairs group of publications and a contributor to the International Military and Defense Encyclopedia and is on the Advisory Council of The Intelligence Summit,” and he has a piece today in Defense and Foreign Affairs. “There is a growing volume of new evidence” that the White House knew and possibly helped plan a Syrian chemical weapon attack by the opposition.
This is the first scholarly piece on it that I’ve seen.
So I want to throw this out to you, after the break here, as just a possibility, ’cause I’ve heard from a couple people who have lived in the Middle East (some of them claim to know Bashar) who say, “Basher just wouldn’t do it. He just wouldn’t gas his own people. There’s nothing in it for him. What’s in it for him to do this, other than get what’s happening now? What’s in it for him? Who benefits here by nerve gas being used, and how do you make the case that Bashar benefits?”
Anyway, that’s just speculation.
That’s not part of the scholarship in the piece.
RUSH: My friends, do you remember when the Syrian rebels overran and controlled a government base that had chemical weapons last summer? Even Leon Panetta admitted that chemical weapons may have fallen into their hands. This was last summer. I doubt that you remembered this. I doubt that anybody remembers it. Even people who keep up with the news every day, I doubt that anybody remembers that, so I want to remind you.
Syrian rebels — the same rebels that we’re talking about today — overran and controlled a government base, a Bashar Assad base, admittedly, that had chemical weapons last summer. And even Leon Panetta admitted that chemical weapons may have fallen into the hands of the opposition last summer. Now meanwhile, John Kerry and the regime and the media have used as their main argument the rebels have never had access to these chemical weapons.
I heard Rush talking about this today
There is a growing volume of new evidence from numerous sources in the Middle East — mostly affiliated with the Syrian opposition and its sponsors and supporters — which makes a very strong case, based on solid circumstantial evidence, that the August 21, 2013, chemical strike in the Damascus suburbs was indeed a pre-meditated provocation by the Syrian opposition.
The extent of US foreknowledge of this provocation needs further investigation because available data puts the “horror” of the Barack Obama White House in a different and disturbing light.
On August 13-14, 2013, Western-sponsored opposition forces in Turkey started advance preparations for a major and irregular military surge. Initial meetings between senior opposition military commanders and representatives of Qatari, Turkish, and US Intelligence [“Mukhabarat Amriki”] took place at the converted Turkish military garrison in Antakya, Hatay Province, used as the command center and headquarters of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and their foreign sponsors. Very senior opposition commanders who had arrived from Istanbul briefed the regional commanders of an imminent escalation in the fighting due to “a war-changing development” which would, in turn, lead to a US-led bombing of Syria.
Go read the rest. It is very compelling and thought provoking. Is it accurate? I have no idea, but I will say that from the beginning I have thought that the chemical attack benefited the “rebels”. I know John McCain swears by his “friends” but, frankly, that does not comfort me to any degree.
The larger point is this. We do NOT know which side used these weapons, so getting involved would be the height of foolishness. And yes that does mean I do not trust John Kerry, or the president.
Jeb Bush is a politician, so I guess we should hold him to lower standards than say we would hold a prostitute to? Dave Blount explains
If you didn’t already consider voting for potential presidential candidate Jeb Bush out of the question under any circumstances, maybe this will do the trick:
Possible 2016 Republican contender Jeb Bush is presenting Hillary Clinton, the presumptive front-runner for the 2016 Democratic nomination, with an award Tuesday, Sept. 10 in Philadelphia …
Bush, the chairman of the National Constitution Center, is presenting Clinton with the organization’s 2013 Liberty Medal.
September 10 is 1 day shy of the 1-year anniversary of the Benghazi debacle, which Shrillary helped cause if only through neglect and incompetence, absurdly tried to blame on a YouTube video out of California, and then dismissed with the infamous phrase, “what difference does it make?”
Jeb Bush is the quintessential RINO, in that he sucks up to liberals and exists to advance their policy objectives. He is John McCain without the war record. If he or the comparably intolerable Chris Christie is nominated in 2016, the GOP is finished.
“Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy,” Bush said in a statement released earlier this summer. “These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year’s Liberty Medal.”
Can you say Benghazi Mr. Bush?
A man of principle would abjectly refuse to take part in this mockery frankly! Present Hillary with a “Liberty medal” is a joke. She has spent her entire political career denigrating the Constitution. That alone should cause anyone who loves America to vomit at the thought of her being given any such awards. When you throw in her role in the Benghazi treachery? But I suppose Jeb Bush would just call me an extremist, I can just hear him now asking “what difference, at this point……..” I think you know the rest!
Playing video poker while the Syria hearing is going on? REALLY?
So apparently Warmonger McCain is taking Syria really seriously. WaPo caught him playing poker on his iPhone:
At this moment, John Kerry is on TV demanding that the United Statesmust now involve itself in the Syrian civil war.
Take a look at the picture below. What would Washington say to the three chuckle heads, Obama, and John Lindsey McGraham?
Could he possibly look more ineffective if he tried? A year ago, after the Syrian civil war had already been going on for about 14 months, Obama declared that the Assad regime would cross a “red line” if it used chemical weapons against the opposition. By the end of April this year, there was already pretty clear evidence that chemical weapons had been used; in June, U.S. officials said chemical weapons had been used, and by early August, the Syrian opposition supplied video that appeared to confirm a chemical weapons attack.
And . . . nothing.
Nothing but a lot of noise and indecisive hand-wringing.
McCain, like me is against intervention in Syria because no matter which side wins that war, evil will rule Syria. But, McCain predicts that Obama will, instead of being damaged politically for his bumbling incompetence over Syria, BS his way out of it, while blaming Republicans of course!
Never threaten war if you’re not ready to fight, and once the British Parliament voted against attacking Syria, Obama was stuck with his pair of 7′s. OK, so he reverted to campaign mode: Says he’s going to wait for congressional authorization — which he knows damned well he won’t get — after which he will then blame Republicans as “obstructionists,” even though Democrats don’t want this war, either.
He’s a great bullshit artist, but he has never been anything more.
BIngo! Sadly, many Americans fall for the BS though.
The Other McCain has the background on this poor, poor woman who cannot seem to stop being offended, and cannot to seem to put that hard-earned Honors BA in Social Justice and Peace Studies to good use.
Yes, I know, it is mean to mock those less intelligent than the average four-year-old, but when someone boasts about a degree in Social Justice and Peace Studies, or a Masters in Gender Studies they have it coming.
Hilarity ensued Monday after @Andria_XX complained that social-media criticism of Miley Cyrus included “bodyshaming/slutshaming” and “heteropatriarchal crap.” Readers will recall that Andria has an “Honors BA in Social Justice and Peace Studies” and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Gender Studies. So . . . how’s that going?
“I have a honors BA and I’m defending my MA thesis
in two weeks. I am also apply for jobs and I can
only find stuff in the service industry. I applied
for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk job today.
My degrees mean NOTHING.
I am at the end of my rope.“
What? Being an advanced student of useless ideology doesn’t result in meaningful employment? That’s just really . . . unfair.
Look on the bright side Andria, you can USE those USELESS degrees to help continue to blame men, and bodyshaming/slutshaming” and “heteropatriarchal crap” for all your ills.
BTW Andria, I like Black Forest ham and roasted turkey, mustard AND mayo, ripe tomatoes, extra pickles, and green leaf lettuce on my sandwiches.
Is it just me, or are these two and their campaign of lies well past tiresome? Sorry, but losing their son does not give them Carte Blanche to spread bald-faced lies in an effort to hamper American’s right to self-defense. Bob Owens sounds pretty fed up with their act too He posts their latest batch of lies from Change.Org
A reader forwarded along this email he got from Change.Org:
Last year, our son Trayvon Martin was stalked, chased down and killed by George Zimmerman, and Zimmerman received no punishment whatsoever. That’s in large part because Florida is one of at least 21 states with some form of ‘Stand Your Ground’ law which enables people like George Zimmerman to claim self-defense.
‘Stand Your Ground’ was never meant to give aggressors the opportunity to get away with murder, but that is what happened when our son Trayvon was killed. After Trayvon’s death, law enforcement used the law as an excuse to refuse to arrest George Zimmerman. Even worse, the jury in the case was instructed to think of what Zimmerman did as self-defense, even though Zimmerman ignored instructions from the police and instigated conflict with our son, who was just trying to get home to his father.
We are shocked and heartbroken by the jury’s decision to allow our son’s killer to go free. Despite our despair, we must honour Trayvon’s legacy by doing all that we can to protect other young people from being targeted, pursued, and senselessly murdered.
We started a petition on Change.org calling on 21 governors whose states have some form of ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws to review those laws and amend them so that people who instigate conflicts — people like George Zimmerman — won’t be able to use these laws to get away with murder.
We are not the only ones calling for ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws to be reviewed. President Obama spoke out on the need for review, and prominent Republicans like Senator John McCain havejoined him. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue, it’s not ‘black’ or ‘white’ issue, it’s a wrong and right issue.
This is a matter of making sure that no other family will ever have to go through what we have been through. No parents should ever have to know what it feels like to watch your child’s killer walk free.
Our hearts broke on the night of February 26, 2012 when George Zimmerman killed our son — and we were stunned and devastated when the police refused to arrest Zimmerman. We petitioned for Zimmerman’s arrest on Change.org, and after more than 2 million people joined our call, Zimmerman was charged with our son’s murder. We felt so much closer to justice for Trayvon, and so grateful for the support of those who signed our petition.
But on July 13, 2013, our hearts broke again when the jury set Zimmerman free. Our hearts broke because it is so hard to accept that we can’t protect Trayvon anymore. But we can fight to make sure that this never happens again.
We want to say thank you to all of you who have stood up for our son. Because of all your efforts, Trayvon’s life is celebrated all over the world. Please continue to stand with us as we fight to ensure that his legacy is to leave behind a safer and more peaceful world for all our sons and daughters.
Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton
Wow, how many lies can they pack into a few paragraphs? And how much emotional appeal, sans any facts of course, because, frankly the facts pointed to their son being the aggressor, and not Zimmerman. But, I know, I, and everyone else is supposed to stay silent, and not dare criticize them because they are grieving parents, who have absolute moral authority right? Not no, but HELL NO! What they are doing is not only wrong, but it is evil. They are actively campaigning to take away the right of self-defense. And, if successful, their will be MORE grieving parents, not fewer.
Bob Owens offers similar thoughts. Is it all about $$$$$?
40 prosecution and 19 defense witnesses painted an entirely different story, of course, which supported George Zimmerman’s story as he told it.
George Zimmerman stalked no-one. If he did, crazed prosecutor Angela Corey would have charged him.
Nor did Zimmerman chase anyone: their multiple-drug-abusing, gun-dealing, street-fighting thug of a son, who enjoyed hitting people, lurked in the dark for four minutes watching George Zimmerman before he went after Zimmerman, a fact undisputed in the case.
Rachel Jeantel confirmed Zimmerman’s story that Trayvon emerged from the darkness behind Zimmerman as the shorter, softer neighborhood watchman was on the way back to his truck, and as Jeantel herself said when speaking with Piers Morgan after the trial, she believes Trayvon not only initiated the confrontation by coming up to Zimmerman from behind, he threw the first punch… and every one after that, despite cries for help from Zimmerman and John Good’s shouting at Trayvon to stop his relentless attack.
The reality that Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton know in their hearts is that their son was an attempted murderer, who was only stopped from achieving his goal because the shorter, weaker man had a gun.
“Stand Your Ground” was never brought up in the courtroom during the trial, and Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton know why: it wasn’t relevant to the case. It’s impossible to claim you were “standing your ground” when you were ambushed, sucker punched, and mounted, with no way to escape.
Every major claim in their email is a lie.
Apparently Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton have discovered that there is some money to be made from the gun control movement. After all, they’ve already “earned” more than $1 million from their victimology tour.
What else would they say for a few dollars more?
