Kindergarten Teacher At Christian School Fired For Refusing To Quit Moonlighting As Porn Star – Daily Caller
.

.
A kindergarten teacher at a Christian preschool was fired for refusing to quit her lucrative side job having sex on camera.

“I love teaching and sex. If I can get away with doing both, then I will,” Nina Skye, 21, told Fox before being confronted by her bosses who tried to convince her to leave the porn industry.

Skye said she enjoyed working as a kindergarten teacher by day and a porn star by night but administrators at the unnamed preschool fired her because her side job violated the school’s religious ethics, according to the Daily Mail.

Skye, who has been featured in videos entitled “Amateur Allure” and “Swallow Salon,” said having sex was her dream job but admitted she was also motivated by the added income…

Woman Bites Store Employee While Attempting To Steal Stripper Pole – Toronto Sun

An Arkansas mall store employee is smarting after a would-be thief bit her while attempting to steal a stripper pole.

According to KATV, a woman that worked at the Spencer’s store in Little Rock’s Park Plaza Mall was attacked after a female suspect entered the store in an attempt to return an item for cash or store credit.

Cops say the employee noted the suspect looked familiar as she was believed to have previously stolen items from the store. Spencer’s manager told police the woman wanted a stripper pole instead of store credit.

Frustrated, the suspect then attempted to leave the shop with stripper pole in hand.

The Spencer’s employee gave chase, eventually recovering the pole from her. In retaliation, the alleged thief bit the employee on the upper right arm. She then fled the mall.

Cops are still searching for the suspect, who is described as a black female, standing 5-foot-3 and weighing 120 pounds with long curly black hair and brown eyes…

USDA Suspends Brazilian Fresh-Beef Imports – MarketWatch
.

.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture suspended imports of fresh beef from Brazil, citing recurring safety concerns.

The USDA’s move came after Brazil earlier Thursday suspended beef exports from five slaughterhouses to the U.S., after a foot-and-mouth disease vaccine potentially caused abscesses in some cattle, according to the national meat-exporting group Abiec.

“Although international trade is an important part of what we do at USDA, and Brazil has long been one of our partners, my first priority is to protect American consumers,” said USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue, announcing the suspension Thursday afternoon. The USDA said the block on Brazilian beef would remain in place until Brazil’s agricultural ministry “takes corrective action which the USDA finds satisfactory.”…

ISIS Leader And Mastermind Behind Massive Truck Bomb Has Been Killed In Afghanistan – Circa

The acting ISIS leader behind one of Afghanistan’s most deadly attacks was purportedly killed Thursday by Afghan forces in the eastern Tora Bora mountains, a region once made famous in the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, Afghan and Pakistani intelligence officials told Circa.

Abdul Razaq, who was known as the ISIS deputy commander and whose alias was Khalid Mansoor, was apparently killed during a fight with Afghan forces, along with two other low ranking members of the group, an ISIS commander confirmed in an audio clip obtained by Circa.

Mansoor was the operational commander of the military wing of the terrorist group’s Afghanistan branch, known as ISIS Khorasan, according to the ISIS Clip.

According to Afghan intelligence, Mansoor was the mastermind behind the truck bomb last month that killed 90 people in Kabul’s diplomatic district and wounded more than 400, including 11 Americans. It was one of the most deadly attacks since the start of the Afghan war…

New York Times Bloodbath Could Include Reporter Jobs – New York Post
.

.
Reporters at the New York Times could soon be “vulnerable” to the ax. If the ongoing round of voluntary buyouts being offered to editing staff does not get enough takers, the Gray Lady could begin another round, NYT Executive Editor Dean Baquet recently warned his top department editors.

“Up until now, the company had not indicated that layoffs would happen if targeted numbers weren’t achieved,” Grant Glickson, president of the NewsGuild, told Media Ink.

As part of the NYT’s ongoing restructuring of its editing ranks, 109 copy editors have had their jobs eliminated. There are estimated to be about 50 new jobs available in the restructured editing operation that the Times envisions for its digital- and video-oriented future…

How The Dems Burned $40 Mil To Lose 4 Elections And Scam Supporters – Daniel Greenfield

“It’s a bellwether for what the Democratic Party is going to be about,” Democratic National Committee boss Tom Perez boasted.

That was back in March and the Dems had just begun their frantic spending spree in Georgia’s Sixth. By the time it was over, Jon Ossoff, an awkward immature hipster who didn’t even live in the district, had raised $23.6 million and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee had burned through another $5 million. Other groups threw in around $2.6 million to achieve absolutely nothing.

$31 million had been spent and wasted on history’s most expensive congressional election. And the Dem experts congratulated themselves that they had lost by a smaller margin than in the past.

They had spent $30 million more than in their first special election in Kansas to gain a whole 1%.

Just as after their previous special election defeats, the charts and graphs came out comparing their performance to those of previous elections. Never mind that turnout differs dramatically during presidential and special elections…

Leftist-Run Oregon House Passes Treasonous ‘Sanctuary State’ Bill – Gateway Pundit
.

.
As reported earlier in the week, the Oregon legislature is moving full-speed-ahead with an illegal alien protection bill that would make Oregon a “sanetuary state”. The local media, of course, lauds the bill with puff piece headlines of “Oregon lawmakers aim to boost protection of immigrants” and “Oregon House votes to expand privacy for undocumented immigrants.”

The bill, HB 3464, passed the House by a vote of 35-23, down party lines, with 2 Republicans excused for the day.

Oregonian For Immigration Reform head Cynthia Kendoll penned an op-ed in the Statesman Journal:

Today, the House of Representatives’ Democratic majority goes even further…

After Breitbart Investigation, CNN Retracts Conspiracy Theory Hit Piece Attacking Trump, Associates Over Russian Fund – Breitbart

CNN has admitted it printed what President Donald Trump calls “very fake news” and retracted a demonstrably inaccurate hit piece on the President and his allies after a Breitbart News investigation uncovered significant inaccuracies and flaws in CNN’s work.

“On June 22, 2017, CNN.com published a story connecting Anthony Scaramucci with investigations into the Russian Direct Investment Fund,” CNN said in a statement late Friday night. “That story did not meet CNN’s editorial standards and has been retracted. Links to the story have been disabled. CNN apologizes to Mr. Scaramucci.”

The statement was sent out very late Friday evening on CNN’s Twitter account.

The retraction is a complete cave by a network that is notorious for trying to pick fights with President Trump and his allies. President Trump has identified CNN as a “very fake news” network. It comes on the heels of Breitbart News reporting on the inaccurate CNN hit piece, citing senior administration officials and sources close to Senate GOP leadership…

.

.
The number of refugees who entered the U.S. during President Trump’s first three months compared to the last months of President Obama’s term was cut nearly in half, according to statistics released Friday by the Department of Homeland Security.

According to the statistics, a total of 13,000 refugees were admitted to the U.S. in the past three months, compared to 25,000 under Obama, The Los Angeles Times reported. The most popular countries of origins remained the same: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, Iraq, Somalia and Myanmar.

Obama set the ceiling of 110,000 refugee arrivals across the U.S. President Trump cut that number to 50,000 this year. Congress has approved a budget for only 75,000 for this fiscal year…

Senate Announces Investigation Into Loretta Lynch’s Behavior During The 2016 Election – Washington Times

The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday.

In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.”

Fired FBI Director James B. Comey has said publicly that Ms. Lynch tried to shape the way he talked about the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and he also hinted at other behavior “which I cannot talk about yet” that made him worried about Ms. Lynch’s ability to make impartial decisions.

Mr. Comey said that was one reason why he took it upon himself to buck Justice Department tradition and reveal his findings about Mrs. Clinton last year.

The probe into Ms. Lynch comes as the Judiciary Committee is already looking at President Trump’s firing of Mr. Comey…

Oops! State Of New Hampshire Accidentally Passes Bill Legalizing Murder – Law Newz
.

.
The State Senate and House in New Hampshire both passed a new bill meant to protect pregnant women, but it would’ve given them a little too much protection. The bill, SB 66-FN, calls for amending the state’s criminal code to apply the first degree murder statute to the killing of fetuses after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The bill would call for more severe consequences to someone who inflicts harm on a pregnant woman, resulting in the loss of a fetus.

In order to make it clear that this does not apply to women who get abortions or doctors who legally perform them, the bill aimed to provide exemptions, but it went a little too far. The bill, as drafted, says that nothing in the statute applies to “Any act committed by the pregnant woman.”

So basically, the bill says that pregnant women can kill people and they would go unpunished…

Meanwhile, 23 percent of native-born Hispanics are functionally illiterate, as are 15 percent of all native-born Americans.

Only 7 percent of immigrants, and 1 percent of Hispanic immigrants, scored at an “elite” level on an English literacy test, whereas 14 percent of native-born Americans scored “elite.”

Audit: 1.4 million illegals Working Under Stolen Social Security Numbers – Washington Times

Most illegal immigrants who pay taxes have stolen someone else’s legal identity, and the IRS doesn’t do a very good job of letting those American citizens and illegal immigrants know they’re being impersonated, the tax agency’s inspector general said in a new report released Thursday.

The theft creates major problems for the American citizens and legal foreign workers whose identities are stolen, and who have to deal with explaining money they never earned.

But the IRS only manages to identify half of the potentially 1.4 million people likely affected by the fraud in 2015, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration said in its report.

“Cases of employment identity theft can cause significant burden to innocent taxpayers, including the incorrect computation of taxes based on income that does not belong to them,” said J. Russell George, the inspector general.

It’s long been a conundrum in the federal government…

Trump Effect: iPhone Manufacturer Foxconn Plans To Invest $10 Billion In U.S. Plant – Breitbart

Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics maker and a major Apple Inc supplier, plans to invest more than $10 billion in a display-making factory in the United States and will decide on the location of the plant next month.

The Taiwan-based firm has been eyeing U.S. investments for some time and its CEO, Terry Gou, had previously said the company hoped to spend over $7 billion to set up a display-making plant in the country – which has no panel-making industry but is the No.2 market for televisions.

Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, is currently considering Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and North Carolina as possible locations, Gou told reporters after the company’s annual shareholders meeting on Thursday.

“In July we will make a conclusion,” Gou said, adding the company would invest the money over five years.

“Our Brand’s Worse Than Trump”: Democrats Demand “Toxic” Pelosi Step Aside – Zero Hedge

Leftist Democrats Using Sham Lawsuits To Try And Obstruct, Impeach Trump – Daily Signal

Nearly 200 Democratic politicians – 198 in total – are now plaintiffs in two lawsuits against President Donald Trump.

The claims they raise are substantially similar to those made in a separate lawsuit brought by the advocacy group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which was filed against Trump in January.

All three groups of plaintiffs claim Trump is violating the Foreign Emoluments Clause and the President’s Compensation Clause of the U.S. Constitution because, like many presidents before him, he owns assets that continue to earn profits while he is president.

But these “emoluments” lawsuits have another commonality: They all advance the campaign of liberal groups and the Democrat Party to “resist” and ultimately impeach the president.

Two points make that clear: The meaning of the word emoluments as it appears in the U.S. Constitution, and the origin of the present “emoluments” debate…

Nearly 30 percent of the illegal immigrant children the U.S. is holding in its dormitories have ties to criminal gangs, the government revealed Wednesday, suggesting that the Obama-era surge of Central Americans has fed the country’s growing problem with MS-13 and other gangs.

But they said the devastation on communities across the country is clear: killings and chaos, particularly among other immigrants – both legal and illegal.

Senate Republicans Release ObamaCare Repeal Bill – The Hell

Senate Republican leaders on Thursday released a draft of their long-awaited ObamaCare repeal-and-replace bill ahead of a high-stakes vote expected next week.

The measure includes deep cuts to Medicaid and fundamentally reshapes that program from an open-ended government commitment to a system of capped federal payments that limit federal spending.

The bill repeals billions of dollars in taxes that were used to raise money for ObamaCare’s coverage expansion and also abolishes the law’s mandates to buy coverage.

The tax credits under ObamaCare to help people buy private coverage would be kept but reshaped so that they are less generous and cost the government less money.

“It’s time to act because ObamaCare is a direct attack on the middle class and American families deserve better than it’s failing status quo,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Thursday…

As Many As 5.7 Million Non-Citizens Voted In 2008 Election – Washington Times

A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates.

House Passes Bill Expanding Tax Incentives For Nuclear Power Plants – Washington Examiner

The House passed legislation on Tuesday to expand the use of tax incentives for new nuclear power plants well into the next decade.

The bipartisan nuclear tax bill passed by voice vote, and had 32 co-sponsors at the time it was approved.

“Without this legislation, the nuclear power industry may cease to exist as we know it in this country, which is exactly why passing this bill now is more important than ever,” said Rep. Tom Rice, R-S.C., a lead sponsor of the bill. “We need to give these plants the certainty of these tax credits, just as Congress intended.”

The southeast, where Rice is from, is one of the only regions of the country that is building new nuclear power plants, as the nation’s aging fleet of older plants continues to face economic and market constraints that are forcing them to shut down prematurely.

The bill removes a restriction for nuclear power plants to enter into service by 2020 in order to benefit from the production tax credit, which subsidizes the electricity generated from the plants by 1.8 cents per kilowatt hour…

Rep. Brian Babin (R., Texas) introduced the legislation on Tuesday, about a week after a radicalized shooter opposed to President Donald Trump and Republicans shot Rep. Steve Scalise (R., La.), a congressional staffer, a lobbyist, and two Capitol police officers in Virginia.

The legislation would enable certified members of Congress to carry a concealed weapon “in nearly every conceivable scenario,” according to information released by Babin’s office…

Feds Seize Nearly 100 Pounds Of Fentanyl In Unprecedented Drug Bust – Washington Times

Federal authorities said Monday that a narcotics probe has resulted in the seizure of nearly 100 pounds of fentanyl, or enough of the drug to kill more than a million people.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents seized about 97 pounds of the synthetic opiate during the course of investigating an alleged narcotics ring in San Diego, federal prosecutors announced Monday.

Details of the seizure were unveiled in tandem with the unsealing of a related indictment against three of the operation’s purported suspects: Jonathan Ibarra, 45; Anna Baker, 30; and Hector Fernando Garcia, 46.

Federal agents determined that Mr. Ibarra “received instructions” on Nov. 20, 2016 for using a female courier later identified as Ms. Baker to transport an unidentified narcotic, according to the documents.

DEA agents armed with the information requested a traffic stop of Ms. Baker’s rented vehicle afterwards and uncovered about 15 kilograms of what authorities ultimately determined to be fentanyl…

Illinois Comptroller: “The State Can No Longer Function” – Zero Hedge

With just 10 days to go until Illinois enters its third year without a budget, resulting in the state’s imminent downgrade to junk status and potentially culminating in a default for the state whose unpaid bills now surpass $15 billion, Democratic Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza issued a warning to Illinois Gov. Rauner and other elected officials on Tuesday, saying in a letter that her office has “very serious concerns” it may no longer be able to guarantee “timely and predictable payments” for some core services.

In the letter posted on her website, Mendoza who over the weekend warned that Illinois is “in massive crisis mode” and that “this is not a false alarm” said the state is “effectively hemorrhaging money” due to various court orders and laws that have left government spending roughly $600 million more a month than it’s taking in. Mendoza said her office will continue to make debt payments as required, but indicated that services most likely to be affected include long-term care, hospice and supportive living centers for seniors…

Racist Professor Who Made Belligerent Appearance On ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ Suspended Indefinitely – Daily Caller

A former professor at Essex County College was indefinitely suspended two days after her heated appearance on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Lisa Durden was told that she had to cancel her classes and report to Essex County College’s human resources department two days after a June 6 appearance on the prime time Fox News show. School officials then indefinitely suspended her.

“They did this to humiliate me,” Durden told The Star-Ledger. “Essex County College publicly lynched me in front of my students.”

Durden went off on the show in defense of a black-only Memorial Day party organized by Black Lives Matter, dodging a direct question from Carlson on whether it’s okay to exclude people based on race.

“I thought the whole point of Black Lives Matter, or one of the points, would be to speak out against singling people out on the basis of their race and punishing them for that because you can’t control what your race is, and yet they seem to be doing that, explain that to me,” Tucker said…

Barclays Bank, Four Former Top Executives Charged With Fraud Over Fundraising With Qatari Investors – Financial Gazette

Barclays and four former senior executives are facing criminal charges relating to investments sought from Qatar in 2008. The emergency funds raised by Barclays at the height of the financial crisis allowed it to avoid a government bailout when its rivals – Lloyds and Royal Bank of Scotland – took state rescue packages.

After a five-year investigation, the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has announced Barclays has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit fraud and the provision of unlawful financial assistance.

The charges centre on the bank’s move to raise cash from Qatari investors Qatar Holding and Challenger Universal in June and October 2008. They also relate to a $3bn (£2.4bn) loan made available to the State of Qatar in November of that year.

The bank’s former chief executive John Varley and another senior executive Roger Jenkins have been with conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation in relation to a first round of investment in June 2008…

House Conservatives Send Senate List Of ‘Must Haves’ For Healthcare Bill – Washington Examiner

A House conservative group formerly chaired by Vice President Mike Pence plans to issue their healthcare demands to Republican senators amid growing reports that the bill has moved further to the left.

The 151-member Republican Study Committee is sending a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., detailing what the group’s members want to see in a bill repealing and replacing Obamacare, raising new questions about whether Republicans will be able to come together to pass the legislation.

Republican Study Committee members say in the draft letter they would like to see many conservative policies in the House-passed American Health Care Act preserved in whatever Obamacare bill emerges from the Senate.

This includes phasing out Medicaid expansion beginning in 2020. They also want to keep the repeal of all taxes under Obamacare, an area where Republicans broadly agree but raises questions about how to fund the healthcare law…

Mostly Useless GOP Considers Canceling August Recess To Salvage Agenda – The Hill

Alarmed by the stalemate on healthcare reform, lack of progress on tax reform and appropriations bills that are far behind schedule, Republican lawmakers across Congress are increasingly willing to consider canceling the month-long August recess.

Senate Republican negotiators reported that they are not close to a deal on healthcare reform and that scheduling a vote by July 4, which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has pushed, is likely unrealistic.

That impasse has held up work on a budget resolution, which is necessary to move tax reform and the annual appropriations bills.

Once Republicans vote on a budget resolution for 2018, it will wipe out the special vehicle they plan to use to pass healthcare reform with a simple majority vote – a vehicle that was set up by the budget resolution for 2017.

Lawmakers calculate there are only 45 legislative days until the end of the fiscal year, on Sept. 30…

New Beer ATM Dispenses 24 Different Types Of Liquid Refreshment – Bravo

Ordering a beer at the bar should be a simple, straightforward task. But that’s not always true. On crowded nights, you may have to fight your way through three rows of people just to get a glimpse of the wooden bar and a shot at ordering. Or maybe you were intrigued by an unusual draft item (“Hmm, a blueberry shandy, how delightful”) but after ordering a pint, discovered it tasted like cough syrup. Or perhaps your bartender does one of those “set the pint glass under the tap and let it fill/overflow before handing it to you with beer and foam dripping down the side without wiping it off” maneuvers. (We hate those maneuvers.)

With so many potential hurdles to such a seemingly simple task, it begs the question: why can’t someone come up with a better system?…

Russia Surrounded: NATO Starts War Games As Troops Swoop On Putin’s Enclave – Daily Express

Russia was surrounded on all sides by NATO forces yesterday as America and Britain kicked off a summer of war games in Kaliningrad, amid World War III fears.

Operation Sabre Strike was launched in Russia’s western enclave with US nuclear bombers and Britain’s best aircraft leading the assault.

President Vladimir Putin’s Baltic fleet is based in the region and it was reported that the joint UK/US show of strength angered him.

Mr Putin’s forces in the region include short range ballistic missiles with a 300-mile reach.

However, in a show of strength, the US deployed a historic amount of its nuclear bombers – including B-52, B1 and the B-2 stealth aircrafts.

Lieutenant General Richard Clark, a US airforce commander said America wanted to show that it was “ready to deter conflict.”

After Seattle’s Gun Tax: Lost Jobs, Little Revenue, More Violent Crime – Legal Insurrection

Although Seattle’s gun tax was supposed to bring in $300,000 to $500,000, it’s brought in less than $200,000. The money was supposed to be used to “study” gun violence and to somehow lower the cost to taxpayers for gun violence.

It didn’t turn out that way, and Seattle ended up forking out taxpayer money from the general fund for the “study.” Meanwhile, small business owners have shuttered their Seattle gun shops, causing employees to lose their jobs. Furthermore, Seattle police report that gun violence has sharply increased.

The tax took effect in January of 2016, and includes a $25 tax on each gun purchase and up to 5 cents per round of ammunition.

The Seattle Times reported last April:

England Is Drunk On PC Kool-Aid – Renee Garfinkel

Britain has lost its way, lost its moral compass… and lost its mind.

In the midst of a season of repeated and deadly terror attacks, the British decided to permit Hezbollah, Iran’s proxy and international terrorist organization, to march in a parade through London on Sunday.

The parade marked Al Quds Day, an occasion invented by the late Ayatollah Khomeini to call for Israel to be destroyed. In his words, “any freedom lover and justice seeker in the world must do its best for the annihilation of the Zionist regime.”

Make no mistake, there is nothing pro-Palestinian or pro-Arab about Hezbollah. It is heavily engaged in the ongoing killing of Arab citizens of Syria in support of the brutal Assad regime. Hezbollah has been spreading terror around the world for decades. As far back as 1983, Hezbollah murdered 220 U.S. Marines and 21 other service personnel with a truck bomb at a U.S. Marine compound in Beirut, Lebanon. Obama-Era FCC Caught Red-Handed Giving Preferential Treatment To Leftist Groups – Daily Caller

A high-level employee at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 2014 appeared to give leaders of liberal-leaning groups preferential treatment for posting and publicizing comments on the agency’s public forum for the net neutrality debate.

Details of the highly friendly support were first described by then-The Washington Post’s Nancy Scola, who referred to it as an “unusual collaboration” in an in-depth report on the FCC’s filing system. Those details became significantly more incriminating after Mike Wendy, director of the market-oriented nonprofit MediaFreedom, recently received once-classified pieces of electronic communications years after he filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Wendy alleges that, along with other conservative organizations, they were not given the same effortful and enthusiastic treatment their liberal counterparts received.

Judge Declares Mistrial In Cosby Sexual Assault Case After Jury Deadlocks – Variety

More than two years after his spectacular fall from grace amid dozens of sexual assault accusations, the case that accused Bill Cosby of drugging and molesting a woman at his home outside Philadelphia in early 2004 was ruled a mistrial by the judge on Saturday morning.

Democratic Unionist Party To Spurn Tory Remainers And Back Full Brexit – Breitbart

Ulster’s Democratic Unionist Party, which is expected to prop up Theresa May’s minority government over the coming months, has spurned Tory Remainers who hoped they would force the Prime Minister to ask the EU for a so-called ‘Soft Brexit’.

Impeach Trump’s Impeachers – Daniel Greenfield

The rush to impeach President Trump is on by an opposition party that lacks the votes, evidence or legal basis for such a move. But since when did an illegal left-wing coup need any of those things?

Chisimard, a Queens-born black activist who changed her name to Assata Shakur, was a Black Liberation Army member who was convicted of killing a police officer in 1977.

She escaped from prison with the help of other BLA terrorists and fled to Cuba in 1984, where the Castro regime granted her political asylum…

Escaped Georgia Convicts Captured By Armed Citizen – WCTV

Officials say the two escaped inmates wanted in the slayings of two Georgia correctional officers were captured in Tennessee after a homeowner held the inmates at gunpoint until authorities could arrive.

Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Bill Miller said the homeowner caught Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose trying to steal his vehicle. Miller says the homeowner held the two at gunpoint with a neighbor until the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department could arrive to arrest them.

Miller says the escaped Georgia inmates had crashed a car earlier that day while being chased by law enforcement, and fled on foot into the woods along Interstate 24 near the rural community of Christiana.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles says police in Shelbyville, Tennessee, got a call about a home invasion Thursday. She says Rowe and Dubose held an elderly couple captive and then fled in the couple’s vehicle…

Poll: 7% Of Adults Believe Chocolate Milk Comes From Brown Cows – American Mirror
.

.
A real survey conducted by the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy finds a startling amount of U.S. adults believe chocolate milk comes brown brown cows. The poll of 1,000 adults aged 18 and older taken in April finds 7% of respondents “still think that chocolate milk only comes from brown cows,” Food & Wine reports.

Perhaps more jolting: 48% of respondents “said that they aren’t sure where chocolate milk comes from.”

Mlive provides more less surprising stats from the poll:

* 9 in 10 people say they consume dairy at least once per week.
* 42 percent of all milk consumption comes during the most important meal of the day – breakfast.
* 95 percent have at least one variation of cheese in their refrigerators right now…

Trump Administration Rescinds DAPA Amnesty Program – Daily Caller

The Trump administration has fulfilled another one of Donald Trump’s campaign promises by rescinding the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) program implemented under Barack Obama that could have allowed as many as five million illegal aliens with children who are citizens or lawful permanent residents to remain in the country if they met certain criteria.

DAPA was blocked by the courts from implementation, which the Department of Homeland Security cited as a reason for rescinding the program. A DHS press released said Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly signed a memorandum rescinding DAPA on Thursday because “there is no credible path forward to litigate the currently enjoined policy.”

The program had been challenged by 26 states after Obama issued it in November 2014. The Supreme Court deadlocked when ruling on the constitutionality of the program in June 2016, splitting the vote 4-4 due to the empty seat at the time left by late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia…

Alex Jones Gets Jump On Megyn Kelly; Leaks Recordings “To Set The Record Straight” – Zero Hedge

After NBC’s Megyn Kelly lied to Alex Jones about the scope and purpose of an upcoming Father’s Day airing of his sit-down interview for Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly, the Infowars host set the record straight on Thursday night – preempting Kelly’s segment with ‘leaked’ recordings of their conversations before she could smear Jones on Sunday.

The Setup

As Jones and Kelly began to discuss the details of the NBC interview, Kelly played the part of earnest lawyer turned plucky journalist – batting her eyelashes and insisting her new show was about profiling ‘interesting people’ so the public can get to know them better.

I’m trying to create a different kind of program. I’ll ask you about some of the controversies, of course, and you’ll say what you want to say…

Amazon Is Buying Whole Foods For $13.7 Billion – Forbes

Amazon said on Friday it has agreed to buy Whole Foods in a deal valued at $13.7 billion, as the e-commerce juggernaut makes its boldest push yet into the grocery business.

Under the terms of the deal, Amazon would pay $42 per share in cash for the company, which represents a 27% premium to Thursday’s closing price.

“Whole Foods Market has been satisfying, delighting and nourishing customers for nearly four decades – they’re doing an amazing job and we want that to continue,” said Amazon’s billionaire founder and CEO Jeff Bezos in a statement.

Whole Foods will continue to operate its stores under its brand and John Mackey will remain as CEO. Its headquarters will remain in Austin, Texas.

The organic grocer, which was founded in 1978 and now has more than 460 stores, has come under pressure from investors lately due to sliding sales. It has struggled to attract shoppers as giants like Kroger and Wal-Mart expand their healthy grocery offerings. Its stock has lost a fifth of its value in the last three years…

Budget Director Mulvaney Releases Phase 1 Of Plan To Slash Government Waste – Zero Hedge

The White House Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney announced earlier today ‘Phase 1’ of the Trump administration’s plans for a massive government reorganization, a move meant to increase the efficiency and productivity of the federal government.

In a memo published here, Mulvaney detailed plans to rescind or modify many of the requirements placed on federal agencies by the OMB. The office’s logic is rather straightforward: far too often agencies are required to spend more time and energy complying with menial tasks, rather than spending time allocating taxpayer dollars to effectively and efficiently carry out their missions…

DOJ Moves To Seize Leonardo DiCaprio’s Picasso, ‘Stolen’ Funds In 1MDB Case – Reuters
.

.
U.S. authorities moved on Thursday to seize a Picasso painting given to American movie star Leonardo DiCaprio and the rights to two Hollywood comedies, as they filed complaints to recover about $540 million they say was stolen from the 1Malaysia Development Berhad sovereign wealth fund.

The U.S. Justice Department filing was the latest legal action tied to alleged money laundering at the fund set up by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak in 2009 to promote economic development. In the complaints, the department alleges more than $4.5 billion was taken from 1MDB by high-level fund officials and their associates.

“This money financed the lavish lifestyles of the alleged co-conspirators at the expense and detriment of the Malaysian people,” Kenneth Blanco, acting assistant attorney general, said in a statement. 1MDB could not be immediately reached for comment…

20 Times Violence Threatened, Used, In Wake Of Dems’ Political Collapse – WorldNetDaily

There is no doubt that politics in the United States now include a level of violence not seen in recent memory.

It comes as factions of the Democratic Party have proven unable to accept the fact their candidate for president, now twice-failed Hillary Clinton, lost a decisive election to the GOP candidate, Donald Trump, in 2016.

It means they are not able to continue pushing the nation in a far-left progressive direction, as they did over and over again under Barack Obama.

Even during the campaign, Trump supporters faced physical beatings. They continue to face violence at “resist” protests around the country even now, as those Democrats have moved over and over to deny Trump the rights of the office.

Wednesday, Republican Rep. Steve Scalise and several congressional aides were shot during baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, as they prepared to participate in a charity game…

Putin Likens Comey To Snowden, Jokingly Offers Him Asylum – Daily Caller

Russian President Vladimir Putin likened former FBI Director James Comey to NSA leaker Edward Snowden and offered him political asylum at an annual televised Q&A in Russia.

He highlighted Russia’s grant of asylum to Snowden, who the Kremlin maintains is being persecuted for political purposes.

Trump’s New Order Will Revive Apprenticeships In America – Red Alert Politics

President Trump took steps on Thursday to move forward with his populist agenda, including getting Americans back to work and finding alternatives to an expensive four-year college degree.

The President signed an executive order during an event on Apprenticeship and Workforce of Tomorrow initiatives to expand skill-based job training programs. “We want to make sure that we have the workforce development programs we need to ensure these jobs are being filled by American workers,” Trump said during the signing ceremony.

Taxpayers spend billions on education and workforce development programs, but they still fail to teach the required skills for Americans to get full-time jobs. Trump’s reforms would allow more people to get a skill-based apprentice job for a fraction of the expense.

The Executive Order creates more flexible apprenticeship programs and allows companies, trade associations, and unions to create their own “industry-recognized apprenticeship,” approved by the Department of Labor (DOL)…

A few months ago we noted that 31% of college students in the U.S., or roughly 2.4 million kids, literally admitted to using student loan money to fund their binge drinking trips to Cancun and Daytona Beach for spring break.

Now, while most of us who’ve had the opportunity to live in the real world, outside the comfort of mom and dad’s basement, would consider it a bad idea to borrow 10-20 year debt to take a vacation we couldn’t afford, many college students seem to think it’s a perfectly acceptable practice.

Lawsuit Exposes What Obama Used DOJ Slush Fund Money For – I Have The Truth

After A Nearly 14-Year Ban, U.S. Beef Set To Re-Enter Chinese Market – Independent Journal Review

After being banned for more than a decade, U.S. ranchers and cattle producers are expecting to bring American beef back to the dinner tables of nearly 1.4 billion Chinese people.

The breakthrough is one of the first results of the U.S.-China 100-Day Action Plan – a bilateral agreement following President Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Mar-a-Lago Club in April.

The plan requests China “to allow imports of U.S. beef on conditions consistent with international food safety and animal health standards.” The shipments have to begin no later than July 16, 2017.

Since the agreement, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has been working with its Chinese counterpart on finalizing details of a protocol to make sure the shipments are meeting those standards. Two of its affiliating agencies – The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) and the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) – have already posted the related instructions for potential participants to follow…

Oxford Rewrites History Exam To Make It Easier For Women To Get Top Grades – Heatstreet

Academics at the university – often ranked top in the world for history – will now allow students to do one exam at home, rather than in an exam hall.

As such, a second-year exam which previously would have been sat under strict conditions will now be much looser in form….

Houston Resorts To Selling Off City Streets To Try And Close $100 Million Budget Shortfall – Zero Hedge

.
With the US shale industry producing at near-record levels as oil prices languish around $50 a barrel, cities in oil-dependent states like Texas are resorting to increasingly creative means to compensate for the shortfall left by falling energy revenues, including selling off public assets, like Houston just did.

The city held what the Houston Chronicle described as “a yard sale of sorts” last week when the city council approved selling or swapping almost $2 million worth of city streets and utilities easements in a deal that will help close what’s expected to be a $100 million budget shortfall over the next five years.

Specifically, the council abandoned or sold several streets and easements on the east side of the city. The land is adjacent to an oil refinery owned by Valero Energy. The oil giant already owns the blocks immediately surrounding its facility, and the move will let the company assume the intersecting streets onto its land as part of a plan to build an office building,..

No Apologies: ICE Chief Says Illegal Aliens Should Live In Fear Of Deportation – Washington Times

Illegal immigrants should be living in fear of being deported, the chief of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Tuesday, pushing back against a growing sentiment among Democrats on Capitol Hill and activists across the country who have complained about agents enforcing the laws on the books.

Advocacy groups are enraged and demand leniency for “traumatized” immigrants.

Macron Is About To Effectively Put France In A Permanent State Of Emergency – Daily Caller

French President Emmanuel Macron wants to end France’s 19-month state of emergency by effectively turning it into a permanent reality.

France has been in a state of emergency since the Nov. 13, 2015 terror attack in Paris, which killed 130 people. Lawyers and activists now warn that a proposed bill would essentially make all the state of emergency measures law of the land.

Macron’s bill would turn warrantless property searches and house arrests into common police practice. Banning protest marches, shutting down places of worship suspected of sharing extremist views and electronic tagging for surveillance purposes are other powers police would be granted under the proposed law.

“They tell us we’re ending the state of emergency, but they are actually making it eternal. It’s an intellectual scam,” Marie-Jane Ody, vice president of a union representing judges, told French newspaper Le Figaro in a June 8 article…

President Trump Should Bypass Courts On The Travel Ban – Daniel Greenfield

Forget all the nervous gasps.

When President Trump tweeted that his measure to protect Americans from Islamic terror was a “travel ban” and that it should never have been watered down, he was right.

Calling it a pause hasn’t appeased a single of the radical judges abusing their authority. It doesn’t matter what the lawyers call it, when courts insist on referencing President Trump’s campaign rhetoric instead. Watering down the ban achieved nothing. The judicial coup can’t be appeased with a “moderate” ban.

Stripping Iraq from the list of countries undermined the effectiveness of the measure considering that the vast majority of refugees being investigated for terror links in this country are Iraqis.

Most of the rest are from the other countries listed on the travel ban.

And the failure to protect Middle Eastern Christians by prioritizing them as refugees is a left-wing war crime. The lawyers, activists, media bosses and judges responsible for it have blood on their hands…

Fake News Update: Useless Senators Ask Jeff Sessions The Same Question About Russians 12 Times – Breitbart

Despite the fact that Attorney General Jeff Sessions repeatedly outlined the conversations he said he had with Russian diplomats during the course of the 2016 presidential campaign, Senators at Tuesday’s Senate Intelligence Committee repeatedly peppered Sessions with various forms of the same question – whether he had met with Russian officials during the course of the campaign.

Trains for the national passenger railroad – the disastrous, deficit ridden Amtrak with its pathetic so-called high-speed Acela trains, which are anything but high speed in many places – have been delayed as have the commuter railroads also using Penn Station, New Jersey Transit, and the Long Island Railroad. The latter, in true government enterprise fashion, both lose tons of money. They seem to be run for the benefit of anyone but the long-suffering passengers and taxpayers who pay for this government engineered mess…

Trump-Authorized Strike Obliterates Base In Somalia Used To Train Terrorists – Daily Caller

The U.S. has launched its first devastating air strike Sunday against al-Qaida-affiliated militants in Somalia under new authority granted by President Donald Trump. The Pentagon estimates the lethal strike destroyed a main al-Shabaab training base about 185 miles southwest of Mogadishu, killing eight militants in the process, Reuters reports.

Trump authorized the Pentagon in March to conduct “legal action” against al-Shabaab in a particular area where active hostilities are occurring.

U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) said in a statement that the reason for the strike is a direct response to al-Shabaab’s aggressive moves to cement control in the region, noting that in the last eight months, the terror group has captured three African Union Mission in Somalia forward operating bases.

Al-Shabaab has also conducted successful operations against government forces in Burundi, Uganda and Kenya, netting the group large supplies of heavy weaponry, armed vehicles, small arms and other gear it has used to make huge strides in Somalia…

A Florida man found walking on a highway naked attacked a sheriff’s car and urinated on it, police say.

A sheriff’s deputy arrested Andrew Humphries, 18, after police found him walking along South U.S. Highway 441 naked Wednesday following a car crash, WTSP reported.

Police responded to a report of a crash on Highway 441 and Southeast 81st Street when they learned one of the drivers left the scene.

According to a video of the incident, a deputy found Humphries strolling along the highway and asked the man to come to him.

“What’s the deal, man? Why are you naked?” the deputy asked. “Were you in that accident up the road there?”…

Syrian State TV Claims ISIS Leader Al-Baghadi Has Been ‘Killed In A Massive Airstrike’ – The Sun

Syrian state television has reported the leader of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghadi has been killed in an air strike. Claims suggest the world’s most wanted terrorist was blasted with heavy artillery while in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa.

It is possible the terror chief was ‘killed’ by white phosphorus bombing campaigns lead by Coalition forces in the IS-infested region throughout last week. Dramatic footage has emerged showing the scorching munitions showering down on to the city and setting buildings ablaze.

Al-Baghdadi has a £20 million bounty on his head because of his hate-filled sermons that inspired suicide attacks across Europe. However, this is not the first time al-Baghadi has been reported dead and many experts are sceptical of the latest claims.

The death would certainly be a propaganda victory for the Assad regime as Syria’s civil war continues. According to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 13 civilians have been killed in coalition are raids in Raqqa over the past 24 hours…

Jeff Sessions To Answer Pointless Questions Tuesday At Fake Russia Scandal Hearing – New York Post

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has agreed to appear before the Senate intelligence committee as it investigates alleged Russian meddling in the presidential election. In a letter Saturday to Sen. Richard Shelby, Sessions writes that his decision to appear comes in light of last week’s testimony by fired FBI Director James Comey.

Sessions had been scheduled to discuss the Justice Department budget before a Senate panel chaired by Shelby. Sessions says it’s clear the Russian investigation would become the focus of questioning.

Sessions recused himself from a federal investigation into contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign after acknowledging that he had met twice last year with the Russian ambassador to the U.S…

Sex Attacks At Swedish Festivals Have Risen 1,000 Percent – Breitbart

A new report has revealed that sex attacks at Swedish festivals have increased as much as 1000 percent in 2016, a trend which does not appear to be changing.

Non-profit organisation The Night Shift say they have documented over a hundred cases of sexual molestation, and that the numbers continue to rise Expressen reports. Over the past year, Sweden has seen a dramatic increase in the number of sex attacks at open air festivals and amusement parks across the country.

Grona Lund, an amusement park in Stockholm, was the scene of one sex attack last year, but so far this year there have been at least four according to security manager Fredrik Gemzell. The park, which has only been open since April, is one of the busiest in the country.

“All cases are reported to the police. It is young teenage girls who have been victims,” said Gemzell adding, “We have our own security centre, where visitors can call. In addition, we have a security team which patrols the park. It is good that the police reported…

3 Intollerant Leftist Groups Stop D.C. Gay Pride Parade, Force Them To Take Alternate Route – 100PercentFedUp
.

Protesters affiliated with the group No Justice, No Pride blocked this year’s Capital Pride Parade on three separate occasions, delaying the parade and forcing participants to use an alternative route, in protest of the participation of police officers and certain corporate sponsors.

The No Justice, No Pride group first conducted its own march down the planned parade route with signs like “rainbows don’t cover death merchants” and “no pride in police violence.” They then blocked the route at 15th and P Streets NW. Police formed a barricade around the demonstrators, allowing them to continue the protest, while re-routing the official parade down 16th Street. No arrests have been reported.

Pride parade fans were furious over the hijacking of their parade by leftist activist groups like Black Lives Matter and lashed out at the thugs who forced them to re-route the parade…

Czech Republic Joins Poland, Hungary And Slovakia In Refusing EU-Imposed Migrants – Gateway Pundit

The Czech Republic has joined its Central European neighbors in officially announcing a withdrawal from the European Union’s 2015 migrant resettlement program.

After much criticism of the scheme, which seeks to resettle an initial 160,000 migrants from Italy and Greece across EU member states, the Czechs have finally withdrawn citing concerns over security and the ‘’dysfunctionality’’ of what has been criticized as a shambolic program.

Prague had accepted only 12 of the 1,600 migrants required by Brussels before leaving the program, which imposes quotas on all 28 member states under threat of sanction.

The resettlement scheme was the EU’s initial response to the near Biblical wave of migrants which arrived in autumn 2015 following Angela Merkel’s decision to open Germany’s borders.

In April, Czech Interior Minister, Milan Chovanec, had stated that his government would have to decide whether resistance to the EU’s quotas was worth the massive fines such a refusal would incur…

Trump Has Signed More Bills Into Law At This Point In Presidency Than His Four Predecessors – Washngton Times
.

.
House Speaker Paul Ryan and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy have issued a very promising report about President Trump so far in his presidency. Compared to his immediate predecessors, Mr. Trump is forging ahead in his bid to better the nation and move forward.

“To date, President Trump has signed 37 bills into law, placing him ahead of the last four administrations,” the two Republican leaders noted in a report issued Thursday. At this point in his presidency, President Obama had signed off on 24 bills. President George W. Bush signed 15, President Clinton 33 bills and President George H.W. Bush 35.

The two leaders had other news of interest to voters weary of a do-nothing Capitol Hill.

“The Republican-led House has passed 158 bills, making it the most productive in the modern-era,” the pair said in their report…

Senate Republicans Using Special Rules To Fast-Track Obamacare Replacement – KJRH

Senate Republicans are greasing the wheels for the party’s health care replacement plan.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell invoked Senate Rule 14 on Wednesday. That would allow the American Health Care Act – which barely passed the House on May 4 – to bypass Senate committees and go straight to a floor vote without a debate.

And since the AHCA is technically a budget reconciliation bill, Democrats can’t filibuster. The bill could pass with just 51 votes.

But before they can vote on their version of a health care bill, Senate Republicans need to finalize one.

Two major holdouts are Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Mike Lee. Additionally, Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Tom Cotton have voiced concern with the bill’s direction. Republicans only have 52 seats in the Senate, which means the party can only afford to lose two votes.

Vice President Mike Pence would cast the deciding vote if there’s a tie. The Senate also requires a score from the Congressional Budget Office before a vote…

The District of Columbia is spending $20,000 to pay artists to paint environmentally friendly, pro-LGBTQ murals on storm drains.

Mayor Muriel Bowser unveiled a “rainbow-colored crosswalk” on Friday to promote gay pride parades that are taking place in the city this weekend. Bowser announced storm drains would also be painted by local artists to “celebrate the LGBTQ identity” and the environment.

“We are installing these temporary crosswalks as a symbol of Washington, D.C.’s inclusivity and LGBTQ pride,” Bowser said. “For many years, Washington, D.C., has been a leader on LGBTQ rights, and my administration will continue pushing forward to protect and defend the rights of and expand opportunity for our LGBTQ residents. 12 Staffers At Democrat-Linked Group Charged With Voter Fraud – Daily Caller

Local prosecutors in Marion County, Indiana, charged 12 employees of a Democratic-linked voter recruitment organization of submitting fraudulent voter registration applications prior to the 2016 election.

According to the Associated Press, prosecutors say that 11 temporary canvassers working for the Indiana Voter Registration Project made and sent in an unknown number of fake voter applications. The canvassers’ supervisor, Holiday Burke, was charged as well.

The organization, the AP reported, is managed by Patriot Majority USA a group with strong ties to Democratic Party, including former President Bill Clinton and former Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, as well as labor unions.

The investigation by state authorities began last August when a clerk in Hendricks County marked around a dozen voter forms with suspicious information. The probe went into 56 counties where the organization collected 45,000 applications. Patriot Majority rejected the notion the group engaged in any illegal activity…

Attorney General Sessions Ends Revenue Stream For Obama’s Lefties – WorldNetDaily

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is pulling the plug on a Justice Department policy instituted during the Obama years that effectively forced corporations to settle lawsuits by, in part, funding Obama’s favorite leftist political organizations, a practice many critics considered a liberal slush fund.

“When the federal government settles a case against a corporate wrongdoer, any settlement funds should go first to the victims and then to the American people – not to bankroll third-party special interest groups or the political friends of whoever is in power,” said Sessions in a statement.

Former Justice Department official Hans von Spakovsky is now with the Heritage Foundation. He is also co-author of “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department.” He calls the former policy nothing more than the government stealing from the American people…

The Damaging Case Against James Comey – Jonathan Turley

The testimony of James Comey proved long on atmospherics and short on ethics. While many were riveted by Comey’s discussion of his discomfort in meetings with President Trump, most seemed to miss the fact that Comey was describing his own conduct in strikingly unethical terms. The greatest irony is that Trump succeeded in baiting Comey to a degree that even Trump could not have imagined. After calling Comey a “showboat” and poor director, Comey proceeded to commit an unethical and unprofessional act in leaking damaging memos against Trump.

Comey described a series of ethical challenges during his term as FBI director. Yet, he almost uniformly avoided taking a firm stand in support of the professional standards of the FBI. During the Obama administration, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave Comey a direct order to mislead the public by calling the ongoing investigation a mere “matter.” Rather than standing firm on the integrity of his department and refusing to adopt such a meaningless and misleading term, Comey yielded to Lynch while now claiming discomfort over carrying out the order…

Communist Bernie Sanders Doesn’t Think Christians Are Fit For Public Office – The Federalist
.

.
While the nation’s capital was twittering with excitement on Wednesday about former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, something far more outrageous was underway in another Senate hearing: Sen. Bernie Sanders, in a blatant violation of Article VI of the U.S. Constitution, was applying a religious test for an office of public trust.

Specifically, Sanders doesn’t think Christians are fit to serve in government because they’re bigots. Basic Christian theology, in Sanders’s view, “is indefensible, it is hateful, it is Islamophobic, and it is an insult to over a billion Muslims throughout the world.”

Here’s what happened. During a confirmation hearing for Russell Vought, President Trump’s nominee for deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget, Sanders expressed his indignation at an article Vought had written in January 2016 about a controversy that erupted at Vought’s alma mater, Wheaton College…

House Republicans Vote To Replace Disastrous Dodd-Frank Regulations – Political Insider

Following the 2008 financial crisis, Barack Obama and his liberal allies passed one of the most biggest pieces of regulatory legislation in modern history: Dodd-Frank.

The law places extremely burdensome regulations on banks and other financial institutions, with the alleged goal of preventing another financial crisis. In reality, Dodd-Frank proved to be a disaster and simply gave more power to the federal government over our economy, and failed to address the root cause of the 2008 financial crisis.

Well, now that Republicans are in power, they have their sights set on Dodd-Frank, and the House of Representatives voted 233-186 to replace the disastrous law with their own piece of legislation.

From The Washington Examiner:

Authored by Rep. Jeb Hensarling of Texas, the conservative chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, the bill is perhaps second only to the healthcare legislation Republicans passed last month in its scope and significance…

They put the school on lockdown for four hours and ordered many students into hallways, where they were forced to stand spread eagle, the lawsuit says.

According to the suit, officers cupped boys’ genitals, touched girls’ vaginas, reached inside bras, touched girls’ bare breasts, patted their buttocks and placed their hands inside students’ underwear. No drugs were found…

Comey’s Columbia Leaker Pal Goes Into Hiding After Testimony – New York Post

He took the right to remain silent!

A Columbia University professor from Brooklyn went into hiding Thursday after pal James Comey revealed during his Senate testimony that the man leaked memos detailing the former FBI chief’s conversations with President Trump to the press.

Daniel Richman confirmed by e-mail to several reporters that he was the “good friend” and law-school prof who Comey slipped the documents – then hightailed it out of his tony Brooklyn Heights home and refused to answer any more questions.

Comey had just told a Senate Intelligence Committee that Richman was the conduit for the memo, which documented Trump asking Comey to drop the FBI’s probe into former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.

Richman is a former federal prosecutor who worked with Comey at Columbia in 2013. His Ivy League university’s Web site crashed as people nationwide frantically tried to find out more about the mysterious middle man suddenly thrust into the biggest story in the country…

Comey: A Six-Foot, Eight-Inch Pajama Boy – Patricia McCarthy

Aside from revealing that President Trump is guilty of exactly nothing but winning an election, James Comey sure did reveal a lot about himself. His feelings are easily hurt, he gets scared in Trump’s presence, he gets nauseated, is weak, gets confused and stunned. He is sorry his workforce had to hear what Trump said about the FBI, that it is in disarray. He sounded like a college snowflake on almost any American college campus in need of a safe space.

After a lifetime as a lawyer, U.S. attorney for the Southern District, U.S. deputy district attorney, and corporate lawyer, this is a man who never should have been appointed as director of the FBI. He does not have the temperament for the job. We learned yesterday that he unlawfully leaked his own memo, property of the FBI, to the press to “spur a special prosecutor” and cover his own backside. Why not turn it over to acting director McCabe or the DOJ? Because he’s malicious. He likely leaked a whole lot more to the press that is so in love with anonymous sources…

British Election Results: May’s Gamble Backfires – Financial Times

Theresa May’s gamble on a snap election has dramatically backfired after her quest for a “stronger mandate” to deliver Brexit ended up in the humiliation of a hung parliament, leaving her future as prime minister in doubt. The Conservatives emerged as the biggest party but are projected to fall eight seats short of an overall majority, leaving the Tories trying to form a minority government.

A visibly shaken Mrs May said during the night that the Conservative party would “fulfil its duty” to ensure stability as the start of Brexit negotiations loom later in the month. “The country needs a period of stability,” she said after winning her constituency in Maidenhead. However, senior Conservative figures said she might be forced to quit and Tory MP Anna Soubry said the prime minister should “consider her position” after running “a disastrous campaign”.

With three seats left to be declared, Mrs May’s Conservatives were projected to win 319 seats, Labour 261, the Scottish National Party 35 and the Liberal Democrats 13. In the outgoing parliament, the Tories had 331 seats; a governing party needs 326 out of 650 seats for a majority…

A Texas Democrat who gained national attention earlier this year for her hunger strike in protest of the state’s “sanctuary city” bill was arrested on Tuesday night for drunk driving after she drove her car into a tree, according to a Dallas Morning News report.

State Rep. Victoria Neave, a freshman in the legislature representing parts of Dallas, was “staggering” and “uncooperative” with police, according to the report. She refused to take a field sobriety test and repeatedly said to officers while slurring her words that she was “invoking my 5th amendment rights.”

“I love you and I will fight for you and I’m invoking my 5th amendment rights,” she slurred repeatedly, according to the report.

Just one week ago, Neave was honored by the Texas House Democratic Caucus as its “freshman of the year.”

She gained national attention in April when she went on a four-day hunger strike aimed at stopping legislation that would have banned sanctuary cities…

ISIS Kills 12, Injures Dozens In Twin Iran Attacks – Fox News
.

.
ISIS claimed responsibility for a pair of Wednesday attacks in Tehran in which suicide bombers and teams of gunmen stormed Iran’s parliament and the nearby shrine of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, killing at least 12 and injuring dozens of others.

This is the first attack orchestrated by ISIS in the Islamic Republic, SITE Intel Group reported. It wasn’t initially clear if the death count, reported by state broadcaster IRIB, included the attackers.

In a rare and stunning move, ISIS released video from inside the parliament building while the attack was under way. The video, circulated online, shows a gunman and a bloody, lifeless body of a man lying on the ground next to a desk…

13 Alabama Counties Saw 85 Percent Drop In Food Stamp Participation After Work Requirements Restarted – AL

Thirteen previously exempted Alabama counties saw an 85 percent drop in food stamp participation after work requirements were put in place on Jan. 1, according to the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

The counties – Greene, Hale, Perry, Dallas, Lowndes, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh, Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, Sumter and Barbour – had been exempt from a change that limited able-bodied adults without dependents to three months of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits within a three-year time frame unless they were working or participating in an approved training program.

During the economic downturn of 2011-2013, several states – including Alabama – waived the SNAP work requirements in response to high unemployment. It was reinstituted for 54 counties on Jan. 1, 2016 and for the remaining 13 on Jan. 1, 2017. As of April 2017, the highest jobless rate among the 13 previously excluded counties was in Wilcox County, which reported a state-high unemployment rate of 11.7 percent, down more than 11 percentage points from the county’s jobless rate for the same month of 2011…

Trump Nominates Christopher Wray As FBI Director – Business Insider
.

.
President Donald Trump has chosen a former Department of Justice official, Christopher Wray, as his pick to lead the FBI.

“I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow,” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.

Wray is a former assistant attorney general who oversaw the DOJ’s criminal division under President George W. Bush from 2003 to 2005.

He is a partner at the law firm King & Spalding, and he was the lawyer for Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey during the “Bridgegate” trial.

Wray’s choice was viewed as a safe one for Trump amid a political firestorm over his firing of James Comey in May. Comey, who was overseeing the FBI’s investigation into Russian meddling in the election, is set to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday.Sen. Mark Warner, the leading Democrat on the committee, said Trump’s announcement Wednesday was “an effort to distract from our Senate hearings today & tomorrow.”…

U.S. Senate Passes Landmark VA Accountability Legislation – Daily Caller

The Senate passed the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act on Tuesday, which empowers Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin to fire incompetent employees.

With the passage of the bill by voice vote Tuesday evening, senators hope to give President Donald Trump the legislation to sign into law by the end of June.

The bill reduces the time it takes to fire poorly performing employees and ensures they don’t get paid while they’re in the appeals process. Shulkin would be able to fire senior executives in a 21-day process. Regular employees have an appeal process of no more than 180 days.

The legislation also allows the VA to take back bonuses if an employee is convicted of a job-related felony.

Florida GOP Sen. Marco Rubio, a sponsor of the bill, said ineffective governance at the VA is unfair to veterans who “have sacrificed much for our country.”

Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), a right-leaning veterans’ advocacy organization, applauded the passage of the bill…

Coats, Rogers Ruin Democrats’ Narrative: “Never Felt Pressured To Do Anything Illegal” – Zero Hedge
.

.
Not surprisingly, today’s hearing on the review of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act quickly morphed into another Trump witch hunt as soon as the first Democrat on the committee, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), was allotted time for questions.

Unfortunately, Warner didn’t get the response he had hoped for when he asked Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and National Security Agency Director Admiral Mike Rogers whether they had ever been pressured by the Trump administration to downplay the Russian investigation.

Here are the headlines:

*NSA’S ROGERS: I’VE NEVER FELT PRESSURED TO DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL

*NSA’S ROGERS: I’VE NEVER BEEN DIRECTED TO DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL

*COATS: I’VE NEVER FELT PRESSURE TO SHAPE ONGOING INVESTIGATION…

It’s Failing: Major Insurer Exits Another State, Leaving 20 Ohio Counties With Zero Obamacare ‘Choices’ – Townhall

Aetna in Virginia. Blue Cross Blue Shield in Kansas City, Nebraska and Iowa. Now Anthem in Ohio. And those are just the headlines since April.

Obamacare is falling apart at the seams, and as predicted, it keeps getting worse. And in spite of Democrats’ buck-passing “GOP sabotage” spin – which never accounted for massive Obamacare face-plants in deep blue states – this latest failure has occurred in Buckeye country, where Governor John Kasich famously embraced the law’s (over-budget) Medicaid expansion and has defended his decision vociferously.

Ohio, in other words, is hardly poster child for supposed Republican treachery. And yet, here we are”

Anthem, one of the nation’s largest insurers and a major player in the individual insurance market created by the federal health care law, announced on Tuesday that it will stop offering policies in the Ohio marketplace next year. The decision leaves about a fifth of the state’s counties potentially without an insurer for 2018, affecting some 10,500 people…

Tucker Carlson To Racist Black Lives Matter Apologist: “You’re Demented” – Mediaite
.

.
On Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson invited political commentator Lisa Durden to discuss how a Black Lives Matter group in New York City banned anyone who wasn’t black from attending their Memorial Day party.

Carlson started off by asking Durden, a Black Lives Matter supporter, to explain how a group who protests because they’re singled out by their race can do the same thing by singling out people who aren’t welcomed to their party by race.

Durden’s response? “Boo hoo hoo!”

“You white people are angry because you couldn’t use your white privilege card,” Durden began her racially-charged rant that went on long enough for her mic to be cut off so that Carlson can finally ask her a question…

Ramadan Rage 2017: The Complete List Of Jihadist Attacks Around The World – Breitbart

Welcome to Breitbart News’ running tally of worldwide jihadist terrorist attacks during Ramadan 2017. Check back for updates through the end of the Islamic holy month on June 24.

The estimated 832 deaths and 912 injuries from the estimated 60 attacks that have taken place across about 19 countries during the first 12 days of this year’s holy Muslim month of Ramadan have already marked the bloodiest Ramadan in recent years for adherents of Islam.

Jihadists believe martyrdom is doubly rewarded in paradise during Ramadan. Jihadist groups encourage martyrdom among their sympathizers and followers, promoting the belief that they will be doubly rewarded if they fatally castigate infidels during Ramadan. The holy month this year is on track to surpass the deadliest and bloodiest Ramadan in the modern record: Ramadan 2016.

Ramadan 2016 featured 1,150 casualties – both death and injuries. This year, terrorists – namely the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), Taliban, and al-Qaeda, among other jihadists – have already killed or wounded more than 1,500 people across about 15 countries and there are still about 20 days left in the month…

Texas Leads 16-State Coalition In Support Of Trump’s Travel Ban – Breitbart

Leading a 16-state coalition, the Texas attorney general filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday supporting President Donald Trump’s temporary travel stay. Attorneys general from 14 other states and the governor of Mississippi joined to urge the nation’s highest court to reinstate the executive order.

State officials urge that President Trump was acting within his lawful authority given to him by Congress when national security, foreign affairs, and immigration policy judgments require him to exercise it.

Last month the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit affirmed a lower district court’s order blocking the executive action, as reported by Breitbart News. The 67-page opinion of the court was issued on May 25…

Daily Mail Accuses Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell And Diane Abbott Of Befriending The UK’s Enemies And Scorning The Institutions That keep Brits Safe – Daily Mail

Today, the Daily Mail accuses Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell and Diane Abbott – the troika who could run the next government – of being unashamed apologists for terror, who have devoted their lives to befriending the enemies of Britain while undermining the very institutions that keep us safe in our beds.

Let us be clear. We have no doubt that Mr Corbyn’s expressions of horror over the atrocities in Manchester and at London Bridge, and his sympathy for the victims and their families, were sincere. But the ineluctable truth is that the Labour leader and his closest associates have spent their careers cosying up to those who hate our country, while pouring scorn on the police and security services and opposing anti-terror legislation over and over and over again.

Yes, Mr Corbyn has impressed some with his quiet composure under hostile questioning. But he personally has spent a political lifetime courting mass murderers in the Middle East, Ireland and elsewhere in the world, affronting his party and its decent traditional supporters, while voting on 56 occasions against measures aimed at containing the terrorist threat…

Flint Official Resigns After Blaming City’s Water Crisis On “Fucking Niggers” Who “Don’t Pay Their Bills” – Law Newz
.

.
A Flint, Michigan official who works for a publicly-funded bank in Michigan recently blamed the city’s own residents for the years-long water crisis, saying they are “f-cking n-ggers” who don’t pay their bills. Phil Stair, a sales manager for the Genesee County Land Bank, was being interviewed by environmental activist Chelsea Lyons, who caught his racial slurs via what appears to be a surreptitious recording. In the conversation, obtained by the blog Truth Against The Machine, Stair allegedly said:

“Flint has the same problems as Detroit – f*cking n*ggers don’t pay their bills. Believe me, I deal with them.”

In classic fashion, perhaps sensing the causally racist faux pas, Stair immediately went on to note that he doesn’t really like to use the n-word, because, well, some of his friends aren’t even white…

New York Judge Arrested, Led From Courthouse In Handcuffs – USA Today

An embattled City Court judge was escorted Monday from judicial chambers in handcuffs.

Rochester court deputies and city police officers executed a bench warrant issued for Judge Leticia Astacio’s arrest last week after she missed a Tuesday court appearance related to an August drunken-driving conviction.

Astacio, a Rochester City Court judge, smiled and said hello to the gaggle of reporters waiting for her at the fifth floor elevator bank of the Monroe County Hall of Justice where officers marched her off to be processed at the nearby Rochester Public Safety Building. She returned later to the courthouse for an arraignment before Judge Stephen Aronson of Canandaigua City Court, who issued the warrant and is overseeing her drunken-driving case.

He ordered her held without bail in Monroe County Jail until a Thursday hearing. The reason she missed her court appearance last week was because she had been living in a temple with monks in the mountains of Thailand since May 3, she had texted to her lawyer…

Ex-Intel Contractor Sues Comey, Alleging FBI Covered Up Mass Civil Liberties Violations – Circa
.

.
A former U.S. intelligence contractor has sued fired FBI Director James Comey and other current and ex-government officials, alleging the bureau has covered up evidence provided to agents showing widespread illegal spying on Americans.

The suit, filed late Monday night by Dennis Montgomery, was assigned to the same federal judge who has already ruled that some of the National Security Agency’s collection of data on Americans violates the U.S. Constitution’s Fourth Amendment, setting up an intriguing legal proceeding in the nation’s capital this summer.

Documents obtained by Circa outside of the lawsuit show that the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington in 2015 approved a grant of limited immunity for Montgomery so he could explain how he managed to walk out of his contract work for several U.S. intelligence agencies with 47 hard drives of highly classified documents…

In Spite Of Media Silence, 50,000 Urge Trump To Investigate Seth Rich’s Murder – Real Strategy

In spite of the media’s silence and refusal to cover the topic, 50,000 Americans are urging President Donald Trump to investigate the murder of DNC staffer, Seth Rich. It’s the topic that no congress member or the media even wants to touch unless they dub those who search for the truth “conspiracy theorists.”

There are at least a few concerned Americans though, unafraid of sticking their necks out. WND reported that there are nearly 50,000 who are urging Donald Trump to probe the murder of Seth Rich. Tens of thousands of Americans have signed a White House petition calling for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the case. Since the media and the authorities are hell bent on covering up this story, the petition likely seemed necessary to the signers. The petition, which was created May 19, currently has almost half the signatures required to receive a response from the White House. The goal of 100,000 signatures has a deadline of June 18.

If unopposed to petitions and you’re curious about the death of Seth Rich, you may head here to sign the petition which urges Trump to get involved…

Trump Unveils Plan To Privatize U.S. Air Traffic Control System – Fox News
.

.
President Trump announced his plan Monday to privatize America’s air traffic control system and separate it from the FAA – arguing the federal agency is too “antiquated” to innovate and casting the overhaul as an initial step toward improving the country’s infrastructure.

Trump wants to turn the air traffic control system into a modernized non-profit organization that operates on fees paid by airlines and others that use U.S. airspace, instead of taxes. “We are prepared to enter a great new era in American aviation,” Trump said, in announcing the plan at the White House. “It’s time to join the future and make flights quicker, safer, more reliable.”

Trump argues the changes are necessary because the existing system has been unable to keep pace with the fast-changing aviation industry that now includes commercial space flights and unmanned aircraft systems, also known as drones…

Federal Contractor Named Reality Winner Arrested For Sending Classified NSA Intelligence To News Outlet – Washington Examiner

A 25-year-old federal contractor is facing charges she leaked a classified National Security Agency document to a news outlet in May. The charges against Reality Leigh Winner came about an hour after the publication of a story based on an NSA document detailing Russian attempts to hack American voting systems in 2016.

President Trump has been pushing Justice to go after leakers inside the federal government, which he has identified as “the big story” when it comes to Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election. Winner’s arrest could signal the federal government is going to aggressively investigate and prosecute individuals who send classified intelligence to news organizations.

Trump and other Republican allies in Washington have made pursuing leakers one of their top priorities, but Winner is the first to face charges for releasing classified intelligence.

Winner, of Augusta, Ga., is facing charges that she removed classified material from a government facility and mailed it to a news outlet. She was arrested on Saturday and appeared on the charge Monday…

Another Bad Omen For Democrats As Jon Ossoff Chickens Out Of CNN Debate – CDN
.

.
Democrats may not yet be in panic mode over the race for the House seat in Georgia vacated by Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price but it may be coming soon.

Rather than take the time to formulate a set of policies that could appeal to a larger demographic outside of radical leftists and a myriad of identity groups with grievances, the Democrats have bet the farm that being anti-Trump will be a winning strategy in next year’s midterm elections.

While this questionable idea is still in the early stages, it has all of the makings of a monumental strategic blunder according to early results in a series of special elections.

The blue jackass party has been seeking one upset win in a traditionally Republican district to kickstart the media narrative that the country has turned against the new POTUS…
