Obama DOJ’s Attempts To Influence Investigations Exposed In McCabe Probe – Washington Times

Tucked inside the inspector general’s report on former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was the story of an August 2016 phone call from a high-ranking Justice Department official who Mr. McCabe thought was trying to shut down the FBI’s investigation into the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was running for president.

The official was “very pissed off” at the FBI, the report says, and demanded to know why the FBI was still pursuing the Clinton Foundation when the Justice Department considered the case dormant. Former FBI officials said the fact that a call was made is even more stunning than its content.

James Wedick, who conducted corruption investigations at the bureau, said he never fielded a call from the Justice Department about any of his cases during 35 years there. He said it suggested interference.

“It is bizarre – and that word can’t be used enough – to have the Justice Department call the FBI’s deputy director and try to influence the outcome of an active corruption investigation,” he said…

Apes Can Bring Lawsuits, 9th Circuit Says – Daily Caller
.

.
A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Monday found an ape satisfies the criteria for standing to bring a lawsuit under Article III of the Constitution.

Though the panel concluded the case could not proceed because apes do not have standing under the federal law at issue, it did acknowledge they meet basic requirements for standing set out by the Constitution.

The case was occasioned in 2011 when a wildlife photographer named David Slater left his camera on a nature reserve in Indonesia. The camera was recovered by a crested macaque named Naruto, a black ape native to isolated corners of the south Pacific. The ape took selfies with the camera, which Slater eventually reclaimed…

Uranus Smells Like Farts, Study Shows – Circa

Uranus is made up of a gas that gives rotten eggs their smell, according to a new study from the journal Nature Astronomy. The gas was detected around the planet’s cloud tops and was the center of debate among scientists for years. The BBC reports this new discovery could help scientists figure out how outer planets are formed.

Hydrogen sulphide smells bad to humans and it took forever to discover this smell because the compound is a “signature ingredient” to the smell of rotten eggs and farts, as reported by Business Insider. The EPA says humans can smell it when it makes up three out of every billion molecules in the air.

LiveScience reports the smell comes from sewers and volcanoes on Earth. The smell, while found in Uranus, is not found in fellow planets such as Jupiter and Saturn.

“If an unfortunate human were ever to descend through Uranus’ clouds, they would be met with very unpleasant and odiferous conditions,” said Patrick Irwin…

Texas Man Sentenced To 50 Tears In Prison For $1.2M Theft Of Fajitas – Circa

A Texas man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for stealing $1.2 million worth of fajitas over nine years.

Fifty-three-year-old Gilberto Escamilla was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to theft by a public servant.

The Brownsville Herald reports he told the court the fajita scheme spun out of control.

Escamilla had been intercepting fajitas that he ordered through the Cameron County juvenile center where he worked and delivering them to his own customers.

His scam was uncovered when he missed work for a medical appointment and an 800-pound fajita delivery arrived at the center, which doesn’t serve fajitas.

Escamilla was fired in August and arrested after authorities checked vendor invoices and obtained a search warrant that uncovered county-funded fajitas in his refrigerator…

Scottish Comedian Fined £800 For Teaching Nazi Salute To Dog – Jerusalem Post
.

.
Mark Meechan, the Scottish man who was convicted last month for hate speech for making a video of a pug giving the Nazi salute, was fined £800 (about NIS 4,000) on Monday morning by a Scottish court.

Meechan, a comedian and social media personality, was convicted in March by the Airdrie Sheriff Court of violating the Communications Act, by sharing a video that was “antisemitic and racist in nature.”

In the video, Meechan appears to be trying to teach the wrinkly-faced dog to raise its paw in response to certain phrases, including “Sieg Heil” (Hail victory – pronounced “zeek hahyl”) and “Gas the Jews.” Meechan has maintained that the video was intended as a joke, and he was simply trying to annoy his girlfriend, who owned the pug…

Drug War Update: Nearly 8,000 Mexicans Murdered In Just 3 Months – Daily Wire

The violence of Mexico’s drug war has claimed the lives of nearly 8,000 people in just three months, further substantiating the U.S. State Department’s “Do Not Travel” recommendation.

According to Yahoo News, approximately “7,667 people were killed in Mexico in the first quarter of 2018, up 20 percent on the same period last year, making it the most violent year in two decades, government figures showed Sunday.”

The horrifying numbers increased from last year by over 1,000 violent deaths. At this time in 2017, the figure stood at 6,406.

“The worst month was March, when 2,729 people were killed, most of them shot dead. January’s figure stood at 2,549 murders, with another 2,389 in February,” reports Yahoo News. “The bloodshed follows a proliferation of gangs involved in drug trafficking, as well as stealing fuel, kidnappings, extortion and other criminal activities.”…

Vulnerable Red-State Democrats Ensure Mike Pompeo’s Confirmation As Secretary Of State – Washington Examiner
.

.
Sen. Joe Donnelly on Monday became the third Democrat to announce support for Mike Pompeo to become the next secretary of state, assuring Pompeo’s confirmation as early as this week.

Donnelly, of Indiana, said in a statement that Pompeo “is capable of advancing U.S. interests and leading the State Department.” Sens. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., announced they will also vote for Pompeo.

All three represent “red” states that voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and all are fighting for re-election in 2018. Many analysts have rated the races in all three states as “toss up,” so the senators’ decision to support Pompeo could help sway voters’ decisions. Trump won Indiana with nearly 57 percent of the vote…

Trump Will Not Invite Democrats Or The Media To His First State Dinner – Business Insider

President Trump’s first state dinner will exclude congressional Democrats and members of the media in a significant departure from tradition, Politico reported Friday.

About 150 guests will join Trump in honoring French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday. The event stands in sharp contrast to the former President Barack Obama’s first state dinner – a bipartisan, lavish affair that hosted upward of 350 guests on the South Lawn.

According to Politico, four Republican members of Congress are set to attend Trump’s first state dinner: House Speaker Paul Ryan, House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Ed Royce, and Louisiana Sens. John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was also invited but will reportedly not be able to attend.

It’s not the first time Trump has strayed from tradition. According to the White House Historical Association, Trump is the first U.S. leader since Calvin Coolidge not to host a state dinner within the first year of his presidency…

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said Sunday his review of FBI and Justice Department “electronic communication” documents shows no intelligence was used to begin the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.

“We now know that there was no official intelligence that was used to start this investigation. We know that Sidney Blumenthal and others were pushing information into the State Department. So we’re trying to piece all that together and that’s why we continue to look at the State Department,” Nunes told Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

April survey data signalled a further strong increase in private sector output across the U.S, alongside steep growth in new orders and intensifying price pressures.

At 54.8 in April, up from 54.2 in March, the seasonally adjusted IHS Markit Flash U.S. Composite PMI Output Index indicated a faster upturn in business activity across the private sector, driven by accelerated growth at both manufacturing and service sector firms. Woman Fined $500 For Saving Free Delta Airlines Snack – Fox News

A Colorado woman is facing a $500 fine from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for saving a free apple she received as a snack from Delta Air Lines on her way back to the United States from Paris, France.

Crystal Tadlock told Fox 31 Denver, toward the end of her flight from Paris, flight attendants passed out apples in plastic bags as a snack. Tadlock put the fruit in her carry-on to save for when she was hungry during the second leg of her trip.

Once Tadlock arrived in the U.S., she went through Customs and her bag was chosen to be randomly searched, Fox 31 reported. Tadlock says a Customs agent pulled out the apple in the plastic bag with Delta’s logo on it.

When questioned about the snack, Tadlock explained she received the apple from the airline and asked if she could throw it away or eat it, Fox 31 reported. The Customs agent allegedly told her no and fined her $500 for carrying the undeclared fruit…

Muslim Refugees In Netherlands Angry Because They Have To Clean Their Own Toilets – Voice Of Europe

Inhabitants of a Dutch asylum centre in Alkmaar are angry about the building’s new cleaning policy, Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant reports. The refugees now have to clean their own toilets and need a key to visit their own toilet block.

“They want us to clean our own toilets on our knees,” says Ahmad from Palestine. Another migrant says: “Even Syria’s prisons are better!” Bystanders laugh about it. Abu Barak from Syria tells the newspaper he is “in shock” and asks: “Is this the Netherlands?”

The toilets in the facility have no toilet paper as refugees use water for cleaning. They bring watering cans with them and as a result faeces spread through the room.

Spokeswoman of the asylum centre, Alet Bouwmeester, says the new cleaning policy has to do with bad hygiene in the toilets: “The idea is that by making persons responsible, things will improve. When you go to a toilet you leave it behind in a clean state, that’s part of our programme”…

Narrative Fail: Newly Discovered CDC Surveys Demolish Anti-Gun Talking Points – Daily Wire

Newly discovered statistics from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that were never released to the public strengthens the argument for guns, and blows a hole in the gun control narrative. The statistics show that guns are used in a defensive manner against crimes far more than they are used by criminals to commit crimes.

A new report from Florida State University criminologist Gary Kleck shows that recently unearthed surveys from the CDC, which were never made public, show that Americans use guns in millions of defense scenarios every year on average.

Reason reports:

…Kleck conducted the most thorough previously known survey data on the question in the 1990s. His study, which has been harshly disputed in pro-gun-control quarters, indicated that there were more than 2.2 million such defensive uses of guns (DGUs) in America a year.

Now Kleck has unearthed some lost CDC survey data on the question. The CDC essentially confirmed Kleck’s results….

‘Smallville’ Actress Allison Mack Arrested For Role In Alleged Sex Cult – Page Six

“Smallville” actress Allison Mack has been arrested for her alleged role in the notorious upstate sex slave cult Nxivm, federal prosecutors announced Friday.

She is expected to appear Friday in Brooklyn federal court on charges of sex trafficking and forced labor.

The bust comes less than a month after Nxivm leader Keith Raniere was collared on the same charges at a luxury villa in Mexico – where they had been hiding out since one of their “slaves” in October went public with her experience in the cult.

Mack, 35, was Raniere’s direct “slave” and had a sexual relationship with him – but also acted as a “master” to other slaves, who were forced to have sex with Raniere and get his initials burned into their pubic region with a cauterizing pen, according to the criminal complaint.

As the women were being branded like cattle, Mack allegedly placed her hands on their chests and told them to “feel the pain” and to “think of [their] master,” prosecutors say…

Activist Court Rules Ohio Taxpayers Must Fund Planned Parenthood – Christian Post

A three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled against an Ohio law passed in 2016 that defunded Planned Parenthood.

In 2016, Ohio Governor John Kasich signed Ohio Revised Code §3701.034 into law, which mandated that the Ohio Department of Health refuse to give funds to any entity that performs elective abortions.

In an opinion released Wednesday that upheld a lower court ruling, the panel ruled against ODH’s defunding measure in part because the court believed it would harm women’s access to health care services.

“If Plaintiffs are excluded from the federal programs, they will no longer be able to provide the services for free. Thus, as a condition of retaining access to abortion free of undue governmental interference, Ohio women must forego the extensive and subsidized access to health services under federal programs that they previously enjoyed,” wrote Circuit Judge Helene White for the panel…

Wells Fargo Fined $1 Billion For Auto Loan, Mortgage Abuses – Politico

Federal regulators slapped Wells Fargo with a $1 billion fine on Friday over customer abuses in its auto-lending and mortgage businesses, the latest in a series of blows to the troubled San Francisco-based bank.

The fine, levied by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the CFPB, marks the biggest enforcement action taken during the Trump administration against a bank and dwarfs previous penalties by the two agencies.

It is also the first significant action by the consumer protection bureau since Mick Mulvaney took over as acting director in November.

“We have said all along that we will enforce the law,” Mulvaney, who was installed by President Donald Trump, said in a statement. “That is what we did here.“

The CFPB and the OCC each fined Wells Fargo $500 million. The CFPB ordered Wells to wire the money within 10 days of the effective date of the settlement with the bank.

Huge Strategic Exercise Underway With Half Of B-2 Fleet Airborne Over U.S. – The Drive

It started around 4pm PST when no less than a dozen KC-10 tankers began to pop up over the central United States. Around the same time, spotters in Minneapolis-St. Paul looked up to see a quartet of B-2 bombers barreling their way towards the southwest, their contrails streaking across the sky.

It seems that yet another group of two sets of two B-2s followed shortly after. That is half the B-2 fleet in the air together at one time – something was clearly going on.

Not long after those sightings, reports of a pair of B-52 bombers heading east across the midwest popped up, one of those aircraft has since flown directly over Manhattan on its way across the Atlantic, while its wingman peeled off to the south, heading down the eastern seaboard of the United States.

Despite Trump’s Historic Cutbacks, The Federal Regulatory Monster Still Consumes $1.9 Trillion – Investor’s Business Daily

We have repeatedly praised President Trump for his efforts to cut back on costly, needless federal regulations and free up the economy. But a new report shows the regulatory beast is still very much alive and trampling the economy.

The list of Trump’s deregulatory wins grows longer by the day. Last week, he directed the EPA to make its clean-air standards more efficient and cost-effective.

Earlier, the administration announced plans to review onerous federal fuel-economy standards. The Federal Communications Commissions repealed “net neutrality” rules. Trump scrapped the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan and pulled out of the Paris climate-change boondoggle. He’s streamlined permitting for infrastructure projects. And he ordered agencies to kill two rules for every new one written – later boasting that the actual ratio last year was 22-to-1.

What’s more, Trump has clearly pulled the reins on the regulatory state, with 15 executive orders and memorandums…

Board member David Campbell explained that the uptick in state House and Senate bills that aim to restrict those who would exercise their Second Amendment rights led to the board’s decision. “[We] decided it’s time for someone to take a hard stand.”

The resolution was drafted in the same vein as one passed in March by Iroquois County, Ill., which was explained in a statement by Iroquois board member Chad McGinnis. “The County of Iroquois firmly believes and supports the 2nd Amendment and strongly encourages other counties to join us in telling the Illinois General Assembly to stop infringing on the rights of our citizens.”…

Obama CIA Chief John Brennan Made Secret Visit To Russia Around Same Time As Fusion GPS Produced Anti-Trump Memos – Gateway Pundit

Well isn’t this interesting? Obama CIA Chief John Brenna, who is fiercely anti-Trump, made a secret visit to Moscow in March 2016. Weeks later in June Christopher Steele with Fusion GPS, who was hired indirectly by Hillary Clinton, produced his first anti-Trump memo.

According to a report earlier this month former Senate Minority leader Harry Reid believed Brennan was using him in order to publicize pretend links between Trump campaign associates and the Russian government.

The Moscow Times reported on the trip on March 28,2016:

John Brennan, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), made a secret visit to Moscow in March, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov. The visit, he said, had nothing to do with Russia’s decision two weeks ago to begin withdrawing from Syria.

“It’s no secret that Brennan was here,” Syromolotov was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying Monday…

The Department of Justice inspector general has made a criminal referral for former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.

A spokesman for the DOJ IG declined The Daily Caller’s request for comment on the matter.

Random House Gives Leftist Tool David Hogg Deal For Book No One In Their Right Mind Will Ever Read – PJ Media

Just how much fame can one person milk simply for witnessing a tragic event? As if countless television interviews, a nationwide rally, and a highly publicized boycott effort weren’t enough to satisfy the apparently inflated ego of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, he has now scored himself a book deal.

The book, titled #NeverAgain, will be published in June by Penguin Random House – one of the biggest publishers in the world.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed the story yesterday:

“A Calamitous Collapse”: Former Podesta Group Employees Reveal Truth Behind Firm’s Downfall – Zero Hedge

8 Of 10 Most Polluted U.S. Cities Are In Leftist-Controlled California – USA Today

Forget the Golden State. California should be called the Smoggy State. Eight of the USA’s 10 most-polluted cities, in terms of ozone pollution, are in California, according to the American Lung Association’s annual “State of the Air” report, released Wednesday.

The Los Angeles/Long Beach area took the dubious distinction of being the nation’s most ozone-polluted city as it has for nearly the entire 19-year history of the report.

Overall, the report said about 133 million Americans – more than four of 10 – live with unhealthful levels of air pollution, placing them at risk for premature death and other serious health effects such as lung cancer, asthma attacks, cardiovascular damage and developmental and reproductive harm.

“We still have a lot to do in this country to clean up air pollution,” said Lyndsay Moseley Alexander, director of the Association’s Healthy Air Campaign. The report looked at pollution levels from 2014 to 2016. Ozone pollution was worse overall in this report than it was in last year’s report…

Rep. Mark Meadows said Thursday there’s a growing body of evidence to suggest that former FBI Director James Comey lied when he told Congress that the FBI and the Justice Department were not coordinating on the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

“We know because we have a number of documents, a growing body of evidence,” to suggest Comey may have lied about that coordination. “Not only was that false, but we know that over and over again now, we have emails that would suggest that that testimony was false and at best misled the American public, at worst was lying to Congress,” he said…

Trump’s Art Of The Deal In North Korea, Israel And Syria – Daniel Greenfield

It’s really not that complicated.

But President Trump’s Syria strikes have reopened the debate over what defines his foreign policy. Is he an interventionist or an isolationist? Foreign policy experts claim that he’s making it up as he goes along.

But they’re not paying attention.

President Trump’s foreign policy has two consistent elements. From threatening Kim Jong-Un on Twitter to moving the embassy to Jerusalem to bombing Syria, he applies pressure and then he disengages.

Here’s how that works.

First, Trump pressures the most intransigent and hostile side in the conflict. Second, he divests the United States from the conflict leaving the relevant parties to find a way to work it out…

Putin Still Wants Deal With Trump, Even After Sanctions, Syria Attack – Bloomberg

After U.S. sanctions crippled an entire Russian industry and air strikes in Syria threatened the first direct clash between nuclear superpowers since the Cold War, Vladimir Putin is seeking to dial down the tension.

Russia’s leader wants to give President Donald Trump another chance to make good on pledges to improve ties and avoid escalation, according to four people familiar with the matter. One said the Kremlin has ordered officials to curb their anti-U.S. rhetoric.

Putin’s decision explains why lawmakers Monday suddenly pulled a draft law that would’ve imposed sweeping counter-sanctions on U.S. companies, two of the people said. The relatively limited nature of the weekend attacks on alleged chemical-weapons facilities in Syria was seen as a positive sign in the Kremlin…

U.S. Retail Sales Rebounded A Solid 0.6 Percent In March – Breitbart

U.S. consumers bounced back in March and bought more cars, furniture and appliances after three months of declining retail sales. The Commerce Department said retail sales rose 0.6 percent last month, the largest increase since November. Auto sales jumped 2 percent, the most in six months.

Sales at retailers slipped in the first two months of this year as consumers pulled back after heavy spending during the winter holidays. Last month’s figures suggest Americans are returning to more free-spending ways.

Easter holiday purchases also likely lifted spending. Economists predict that healthy consumer confidence, steady job gains and the impact of tax cuts will fuel solid spending growth in the months ahead.

Sales rose at grocery stores, restaurants and bars, and drug stores. They fell at home and garden stores, clothing shops and sporting goods stores. Online retail sales increased 0.8 percent in March and have risen nearly 10 percent compared with a year ago…

U.S. Tanks In Europe Get Invisible Futuristic Missile Shield To Counter Russian Threat – Zero Hedge

Back in March, we detailed how the United States Army M1 Abrams tank, an American third-generation main battle tank, was in the process of being upgraded with an invisible missile shield that will destroy all chemical energy anti-tank threats and other threats before reaching the vehicle. We even said, “that Washington is preparing their main battle tank for the next evolution of hybrid wars.”

Known as Trophy, this is the world’s first and only fully operational Active Protection System and Hostile Fire Detection System for armored vehicles. This cutting-edge technology will provide M1 Abrams tanks with 360-degree security from all threats, as advanced algorithms are continually detecting, locating, and neutralizing anti-tank threats on the battlefield.

We even noted that the Trophy system was tested thoroughly on select M1A2 tanks in Europe and the Middle East. With much of the testing classified, there were still several unanswered questions surrounding what region(s) of the world the upgrades would go…

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan avoided criticizing former FBI director James Comey in an interview on Sunday.

Asked whether Mr. Comey is a man of integrity, Mr. Ryan responded, “As far as I know.”

“I’ve met him two or three times in two or three briefings,” the speaker said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I don’t really know the guy. I’m not trying to be evasive.”

The comments come as Mr. Comey embarks on a book tour to promote “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” an account of his time in the Trump administration.

Among other things, the book claims President Trump is “unethical” and “untethered to truth and institutional values.”…

Deep State Corruption Update: Robert Mueller Honored Convicted Human Trafficker With FBI Award – True Pundit

As FBI Director, Robert Mueller awarded BackPage.com CEO Carl Ferrer recognition from the Justice Department and FBI for working in an investigative capacity to assist the FBI.

That award was bestowed on Ferrer and specifically Backpage, com by the FBI in 2011. Mueller, director at the time, signed the award. The citation may have also included a cash reward, FBI sources said.

Ironic especially since Ferrer – previously charged criminally for pimping – was arrested by the FBI last week and plead out to sweeping criminal charges on Thursday.

Last week the FBI seized the embattled BackPage.com website, the Justice Department alleging its founders and employees – including Ferrer – helped traffic underage sex victims, as well launder millions of dollars among other federal charges.

“For far too long, Backpage.com existed as the dominant marketplace for illicit commercial sex…

Two Supreme Court Shortlisters Nominated To Federal Courts – Washington Free Beacon

President Donald Trump is seeking to elevate two state judges from his Supreme Court shortlist to federal courts.

Trump nominated Britt Grant, a justice on the Georgia Supreme Court, and Patrick Wyrick, an associate justice on the Oklahoma Supreme Court, to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and western Oklahoma district court, respectively. Wyrick and Grant have been named as potential nominees to the Supreme Court by the Trump administration.

The nominations pleased Carrie Severino, a conservative court watchdog at the Judicial Crisis Network and former clerk for Associate Justice Clarence Thomas. Severino said the appointments would bolster the credentials of the justices if Trump taps them to the Supreme Court. Grant is 40 and Wyrick is 37, making them particularly appealing candidates for lifetime appointments to the highest court.

“That will depend on Mr. Assad, should he decide to use more chemical weapons in the future,” Mattis replied. “And of course the powers that have signed the chemical weapons prohibition have every reason to challenge Assad should he choose to violate that.”…

Syria Strikes: Russian Official Likens President Trump To Hitler – WABI

A highly placed Russian politician is likening President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler after the launch of airstrikes against Syria, and says he regards the action as a move against Russia.

Alexander Sherin, deputy head of the State Duma’s defense committee, says Trump “can be called Adolf Hitler No. 2 of our time – because, you see, he even chose the time that Hitler attacked the Soviet Union.”

That’s according to state news agency RIA-Novosti. The Nazi forces’ opening attack against the USSR in 1941 was launched around 4 a.m. The British defense ministry says “initial indications” show that the airstrikes against Syria produced a “successful attack” on a Syrian military facility.

The U.K., U.S. and France launched the attacks near Damascus early Saturday. The U.K. ministry says in a statement that while the effectiveness of the strike is still being analyzed, “initial indications are that the precision of the Storm Shadow weapons and meticulous target planning have resulted in a successful attack.”…

In his announcement, Trump noted that precision strikes were targeting Assad’s chemical weapons facilities in retaliation for a Saturday attack on civilians. The U.S., Britain, and France reiterated in the days before the strike that they had confirmed the use of chemical weapons by Assad.

“These are not actions of a man, these are crimes of a monster,” Trump declared of Assad’s chemical weapons use. “Following the horrors of World War I a century ago, civilized nations joined together to ban chemical warfare. Chemical weapons are uniquely dangerous, not only because they inflict gruesome suffering, but even small amounts can unleash widespread devastation.”…

Failed House Speaker Ryan Endorses Lackey McCarthy To Be Next Failed House Speaker – Minneapolis Star Tribune

Russia Claims To Have “Irrefutable Evidence” That Britain Staged The Syrian Chemical Attack – Zero Hedge

As the blame game over the alleged chemical attack in Syria escalates ahead of what is expected to be an imminent, if contained, air strike campaign by the US, UK and/or France against Syria, on Friday morning, Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow had “irrefutable evidence” that the attack – which allegedly killed more than 40 people in an April 7 chemical weapons strike on the former rebel outpost of Douma -was staged with the help of a foreign secret service.

Implosion Of Venezuela Creates Refugees Wave On Scale Of Syrian Civil War – Washington Times

It’s a chilly fall afternoon in the Argentine capital, and for many around the circle at Our Lady of Guadalupe parish hall, the climate feels distinctly foreign.

Only one hand goes up when Jose Guerra, moderator of the day’s workshop, asks how many of the two dozen recently arrived Venezuelan refugees in the hall have lived through four distinct seasons. The rest, it turns out, arrived only within the past few weeks or months.

They are just a small part of the massive wave of Venezuelans turning their backs on their homeland and its beleaguered socialist government. Countries across Central and South America are struggling to deal with the massive outflow. Regional analysts say the out-migration threatens to destabilize Venezuela’s neighbors and prove a massive drain on South American resources and economic development.

First-Quarter Corporate Profits Surge 16%, The Most Since 2011 – CNBC

Analysts at CFRA expect corporate earnings to have surged 16.3 percent in the first quarter, the most in seven years.

“It marks the best growth recorded since 2011 when the [S&P 500] was climbing out of the depths of the latest recession, and is reminiscent of the growth recorded at the peak of the prior bull market,” Lindsey Bell, investment strategist at CFRA, wrote in a note Thursday.

Corporate earnings rose 19.5 percent in the first quarter of 2011, according to FactSet.

This is one of the most widely anticipated earnings seasons in recent memory as investors expect a lower corporate tax rate to have boosted the bottom line for companies. President Donald Trump signed a bill in December that lowered the U.S. corporate tax rate to 21 percent from 35 percent.

“This will be the first quarter corporations will benefit from the Trump administration’s tax policy, which is a key reason growth jumped from 10.4% at the start of the year to above 16% by the end of January,” Bell said…

Palestinians Who Burned Tires So Israel Could Not See Terrorist Infiltrators Demand Israel Give Them More Tires – Daily Wire

Unbelievable. Last Friday, Gazans burned 10,000 tires to obscure the vision of the security fence separating Israel from Gaza so that Israeli troops could not not see infiltrators into the land.

Then, on Sunday, speaking to The Jerusalem Post, Muhammad Hamdan, a spokesman for the PA Transportation Ministry, made this incredible statement:

Left-Wing Harvard Law Professor: DOJ Violated Michael Cohen’s Constitutional Rights – Daily Mail

A famed Harvard legal scholar is raising concerns about the Justice Department’s ability to responsibly handle some documents seized Monday from Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s offices.

Among the scooped-up papers, and lurking on phones and hard drives, is likely to be a cache of material that’s covered by attorney-client privilege.

Prosecutors are not permitted access to those files, and the DOJ’s standard practice is to set up a ‘taint team’ – a group of agents and lawyers not connected to the Cohen case or the special counsel probe into all things Russia – to decide what they can see.

But ‘taint teams don’t work,’ Alan Dershowitz told DailyMail.com on Tuesday, because seizing the material in the first place was a violation of Cohen’s constitutional rights – even if it’s never used in court.

Dershowitz was at the White House on Tuesday afternoon in advance of a dinner appointment with the president, according to two officials…

Arizona Court Rules ‘Dreamers’ Are No Longer Eligible For In-State Tuition – Fox News
.

.
College students in Arizona who participate in the Obama-era DACA program are no longer eligible for cheaper “in-state” tuition, the state’s Supreme Court ruled this week. The ruling affects so-called Dreamers who attend Arizona’s three state universities and its largest community college.

The unanimous ruling Monday will affect at least 2,000 students who participate in DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), which began in 2012 and which President Donald Trump has been looking to scrap or change since taking office in 2017. The court said it would issue a written opinion explaining its reasoning by May 14.

Unprecedented Unmasking And Political Bias: ACLJ Uncovers Major Political Bias From Ambassador Power In The Final Days Of The Obama Administration – ACLJ

We’ve all seen the reports of the unprecedented unmasking of U.S. citizens by senior Obama official, Ambassador Samantha Power, in the final days of the of the Administration – to the tune of more than one a day.

Now, through our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation, we have unearthed evidence of significant political bias during the same time period she was unmasking Americans.

Last fall the media began reporting that among other Obama Administration officials, former Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power made numerous requests seeking the “unmasking” (or unredacted identification) of names and other information about members of the Trump campaign team whose communications had been incidentally caught up in intelligence surveillance efforts.

Power’s requests, reported to number in the hundreds, occurred mostly in the final days of the Obama Administration, that is between the election of President Trump in November 2016 and his inauguration in January 2017…

GOP Snakes Join Democrats; Will Introduce Bill To Protect Dirty Cop Robert Mueller – Gateway Pundit

GOP snakes Lindsey Graham and Thom Tillis from North Carolina will join with Democrats to introduce a bill to protect Dirty Cop Robert Mueller.

This is why Republicans will lose in a landslide in November. They can’t keep attacking the president and defending crooked cops and expect voters to turn out to support them. And, of course, they will blame President Trump for their losses.

The Hill reported:

A group of bipartisan senators is introducing new legislation to limit President Trump’s ability to fire special counsel Robert Mueller. Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.). Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Christopher Coons (D-Del.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) will introduce the legislation…

Algerian Military Plane Crashes In Field, Killing At Least 250 People – Circa

A military plane carrying soldiers and their families crashed soon after takeoff in a farm field in northern Algeria on Wednesday, killing 257 people in what appeared to be the worst plane crash in the North African nation’s history.

Algeria’s Defense Ministry said that those killed included 247 passengers and 10 crew members. The cause of the crash was unclear, and an investigation has been opened, the ministry said.

The ministry said that most of the victims were soldiers and their relatives and that the victims’ bodies were transported to the Algerian army’s central hospital in the town of Ain Naadja for identification.

Local media reported that the plane crashed just after taking off. Emergency services converged on the area near the Boufarik military base after the crash. Footage from the scene showed thick black smoke coming off the field…

California Students Fight For NASA Internships Only Available To Illegals – American Mirror

Students at Cerritos College are questioning why special NASA internships are restricted to their illegal immigrant classmates, and are urging the student senate to open the opportunity to all.

Last week, the Associated Students of Cerritos College Senate considered a funding increase to add two additional slots to the school’s coveted Arduino Internship Opportunity – part of the NASA California Grant Community College STEM Project, the Talon Marks reports.

The scholarship allows college students to create projects that are evaluated by NASA, and there’s currently 10 students participating. But some students at the meeting pointed out that the program is currently setup to benefit only “undocumented” students or international students, and should be available to everyone.

“I believe the senate wanted to cover the entire spectrum of people who are impacted by the restrictions in funding of the program, the amending today was to make sure they covered everyone,” ASCC Vice President David Ramirez said…

Leftist Psychosis Update: Brown University Now Features ‘Safe Spaces For Men’ To Help Them ‘Unlearn Toxic Masculinity’ – PJ Media

The Brown University Health Services office now offers “safe spaces for men” to help them “unlearn toxic masculinity” and combat traditional notions of “what it means to be a man.”

Viewing masculinity as if it were a public health crisis, “Unlearning Toxic Masculinity” offers a three-pronged approach for helping male students recover: a weekly discussion group to unlearn “toxic masculine norms,” a biannual magazine, and a video series.

The crux of the programming revolves around Masculinity 101 Peer Education, a peer-to-peer weekly discussion group that convenes male students to talk about issues such as “Cultivating Empathy” and “Harm and Healing.”

Eight students have already been hired to facilitate these workshops, PJ Media has learned. According to the program description, the workshops vow to teach students what “healthier norms of masculinity can and should look like.”

Sen. Ted Cruz clearly rattled Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg Tuesday by grilling him about Facebook’s well-documented censorship of conservatives. Zuckerberg had a relatively easy time facing questioning during his Tuesday testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary and Commerce Committees until Cruz took over the helm.

Cruz noted the number of examples of Facebook censoring conservatives, including labeling conservative commentators Diamond and Silk as “unsafe,” hiding stories about the IRS targeting conservatives and blocking over two dozen Catholic pages.

The order directs all federal agencies involved in providing more than $700 billion in low-income assistance annually to study programs that are “failing Americans,” and to report back in 90 days with recommendations, said White House domestic policy council director Andrew Bremberg.

“Our country still struggles from nearly record-high welfare enrollments,” Mr. Bremberg said in a conference call with reporters. “President Trump endorses reforms that ensure those in need receive assistance, while eliminating the economic stagnation that has resulted from long-term government dependence.”

The executive order states that federal policy will be to reform welfare programs to empower people following “principles of economic mobility.”…

Trump Seeks To Trim At Least $120 Billion In Non-Defense Spending From $1.3 Trillion Omnibus Bill – Zero Hedge

Larry Kudlow took viewers by surprise during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” this week when – after offering the usual boilerplate about the White House’s trade beef with China – he mentioned that the White House was considering a “rescission bill” to strip some spending from the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill that President Trump signed into law last month.

Congressional and West Wing sources have apparently confirmed as much with Bloomberg, which reported that the rescission bill – which could ultimately strip $120 billion from nondefense discretionary spending – was under serious consideration.

With the CBO now projecting a $1 trillion budget deficit by 2020 – two years sooner than previously estimated – the urgency for the government to roll back some of its deficit-fueled spending has intensified. And bear in mind, the CBO is now estimating that there won’t be a recession within the next ten years, which would make this the longest economic cycle without a contraction in US history…

Abortion Doctor Says He Kills Babies Because It’s His ‘Christian Calling’ – Western Journal

A Mississippi OB-GYB recently stated that he sees it as his Christian “calling” to provide abortions. Dr. Willie Parker – who practices at the state’s only abortion facility, located in Jackson – wrote an Op-Ed for Glamour magazine attacking Mississippi’s Gestation Age Act.

The legislation, signed by Gov. Phil Bryant last month, bans abortions after 15 weeks (i.e. four months into the pregnancy). The law notes that the unborn baby’s vital organs begin to function at 10 weeks, and by week 12, he or she has taken human form in all relevant aspects.

Parker wrote in his Op-Ed, “As an ob-gyn and a Christian, I see it as my calling to help women in making the decisions that are right for their health, their lives, and their families. I believe it’s my duty to meet their needs without judgment. Not only do restrictive laws make it harder for me to do my job – this radical abortion ban is an assault on women across the South.”

He argued, “Before the 15-week ban passed, Mississippi patients already faced multiple barriers to abortion, including a mandatory 24-hour waiting period…

Three Ways Obama Caused The Syrian Disaster – Daniel Greenfield

Obama owns the disaster in Syria in a way that no one else does. Three of his policies intersected to cause the bloodshed, devastation and horrors there.

1. The Iraq Withdrawal
2. The Arab Spring
3. The Iran Deal

Obama’s Iraq withdrawal turned the country over to Iran and ISIS. The tensions between the Shiite puppet regime in Baghdad (which Obama insisted on backing) and the Sunni population created a cycle of violence that reduced the country to a bloody civil war between Shiite militias and Al Qaeda in Iraq.

The collapse of the multicultural Iraqi army allowed Al Qaeda in Iraq to seize huge swathes of territory. And ISIS and Iran began carving up Iraq into their own ethnically cleansed dominions. Then his Arab Spring empowered the Muslim Brotherhood’s Sunni forces to seize power in countries around the region…

North Korean officials have told their U.S. counterparts that leader Kim Jong Un is open and ready to talk about the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, according to The Wall Street Journal.

“The U.S. has confirmed that Kim Jong Un is willing to discuss the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,” a Trump administration official told the publication on Sunday.

The Journal report follows a CNN report on Saturday saying Washington and Pyongyang were in direct communication in secret to prepare for the upcoming summit between Kim and President Trump.

Officials told the network that CIA Director Mike Pompeo, whom Trump has nominated to be secretary of State, has been leading back-channel talks for the summit, which is slated for May.

How $37 Million From The Clinton Foundation Disappeared In Baltimore – PoliZette
.

.
Here’s a question for which Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, special counsel Robert Mueller, and former FBI Director James Comey may well know the answer to – but aren’t likely to want to talk about in public, under oath:

Why did the Clinton Foundation send a $37 million grant for the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund in 2010 to a Baltimore post office box when the CBHF told federal tax authorities that its only office that year was in Washington, D.C.?

For the rest of us, the answers to that and many other questions posed by those who wonder why investigations into obvious and rampant frauds involving Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton and their purported foundation never go anywhere are complex…

Russian Woman Dies In Agony After Being ‘Embalmed Alive’ – Daily Mail

A 27 year old woman has died in excruciating agony after she was embalmed alive due to a horrific medical blunder. Ekaterina Fedyaeva’s mother has accused medics of ‘murder’ after they put her daughter on a formalin drip – a solution contain formaldehyde – instead of saline.

The woman had been in hospital in her home city of Ulyanovsk in Russia for routine surgery. She was given a drip normally infused into the veins of the dead to prevent decomposition.

Ekaterina suffered horrible pains and convulsions for two days before falling into a coma. She was attached to a life support machine and her heart stopped several times. After being flown to a top Moscow hospital, she woke up from her coma – but finally died of multiple organ failure.

Her mother Galina Baryshnikova and husband Igor were with her when she came round from the surgery in her ward. Her legs were moving, she had convulsions, her whole body was shaking,’ said her mother…

A Third Of Millennials Aren’t Sure The Earth Is Round – KDKA
.

.
A new survey has found that a third of young millennials in the U.S. aren’t convinced the Earth is actually round. The national poll reveals that 18 to 24-year-olds are the largest group in the country who refuse to accept the scientific facts of the world’s shape.

YouGov, a British market research firm, polled 8,215 adults in the United States to find out if they ever believed in the “flat Earth” movement. Only 66 percent of young millennials answered that they “always believe the world is round.” Science teachers across the U.S. will be shaking their heads after learning that nine percent of young adults answered that they have “always believed” the planet was flat.

Another nine percent said of young adults said they thought the planet was spherical but had doubts about it…

Truck Pulling Horse Trailer Filled With Illegal Aliens Flips Over On Interstate Near San Diego – Newsweek

Nineteen undocumented immigrants were taken into custody after a truck pulling a horse trailer flipped over in California on an interstate Saturday near San Diego. The truck was in the middle of smuggling people into the U.S. about 15 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border when the accident occurred.

As the driver lost control while maneuvering the truck, the trailer detached and fell onto its side. People inside the Ford F250 truck were injured, but the immigrants fled because of their legal status, running from the vehicle and hiding in nearby brush and rocks. The trailer was empty by the time first responded arrived at the scene of the crash.

“The difficulty is you have individuals that have been involved in an accident, a rollover accident, and when they fled the scene, they don’t want to be found,” California Fire Battalion Chief Kurt Zingheim told local reporters.

A sheriff’s office helicopter rescued one man in a nearby canyon…

Democrat Congresswoman Criticizes ICE For Arresting 15-Time Criminal Illegal Alien Outside Courthouse – Townhall
.

.
Democratic Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez tweeted her admonishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents for nabbing an illegal alien outside a Brooklyn Criminal Court house. But, she neglected to mention that the illegal alien had been arrested 15 times since 2005.

“Extremely concerning to hear that ICE agents targeted an undocumented immigrant just outside Brooklyn Criminal Court this morning. Such actions by ICE have no place in our City & I will be monitoring the situation carefully,” Rep Velasquez commented.

The illegal alien in question, Diogenes Pinzon, was in court challenging a domestic violence case. His girlfriend alleged that Pinzon had threatened and robbed her on May 25, 2017. Once the hearing was over, under cover ICE agents promptly arrested the illegal alien…

Trump Tweets Condemnation Of Syrian Chemical Attack, Says Putin Shares The Blame – Chicago Tribune

President Donald Trump on Sunday vowed there would be a “big price to pay” for the “mindless CHEMICAL attack” that killed dozens of people in a rebel-held enclave in Syria, and an administration official said no options are being excluded from consideration.

As grisly images emerged of bodies in basements and bloodied survivors at hospitals in Eastern Ghouta, Trump made a rare criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said Putin shared the blame for the deaths through Russia’s support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

“President Putin, Russia and Iran are responsible for backing Animal Assad. Big price to pay,” Trump tweeted. “Open area immediately for medical help and verification. Another humanitarian disaster for no reason whatsoever. SICK!”

White House homeland security adviser Thomas Bossert said nothing should be taken “off the table.” In an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Bossert said U.S. officials have examined photos and information about the incident in Douma, a Damascus suburb…

Three Killed, 30 Injured After Driver Plows Into Pedestrians In Munster, Germany – Geller Report

It’s everyday news now: another attack corresponding to the jihadist modus operandi, and another enemedia “news” report in which nothing is revealed about the perpetrator. However, in this case German authorities have actually admitted, contrary to the usual practice of authorities in the West, that this was a terror attack, which means it was most likely a jihad attack.

Nevertheless, soon there will come another group of officials saying the motive is unclear. And watch this space for the same thing happening yet again next week. And the week after that. And on and on until the West collapses – or finally decides to put a stop to this madness.

“Germany van crash: Vehicle crashes into crowd in Munster leaving three dead and more than 30 injured,” by Lucy Clarke – Billings, Mirror, April 7, 2018:

Meadows suggested that if the House does not receive documents requested this week then they may act to impeach Assistant US AG Rod Rosenstein for his obstruction and delays in providing documents to the House.

Meadows shared –

I think that if he [Rosenstein] does not turn over the documents that there are a growing number of us on capital hill that someone else needs to do the job.

Meadows then went on to suggest that the House may impeach Rosenstein if he doesn’t provide the data requested for months…

Vatican Arrests Monsignor On Child Pornography Charges – Reuters

The Vatican said on Saturday its police had arrested a monsignor who worked as a diplomat at its embassy in Washington and is suspected of possessing child pornography in the United States and Canada.

A statement identified the accused as Msgr. Carlo Alberto Capella and said he was arrested earlier on Saturday in the Vatican after a warrant was issued by the Holy See’s chief magistrate at the end of an investigation.

The Vatican statement said Capella, who was recalled from the Vatican embassy in Washington last August, was arrested according to articles of a 2013 law signed by Pope Francis. The articles cited by the statement related to child pornography.

If indicted, the monsignor will have to stand trial in the Vatican and faces up to 12 years in jail. The scandal is the latest blow to the Catholic Church as it struggles to overcome repeated sex abuse cases among its clergy…

U.S. Deploys Three Carrier Battle Groups To Face-Off Against Chinese Aircraft Carrier In South China Sea – Zero Hedge

Last week, we reported that satellite images had captured China’s only aircraft carrier in deployment, the Liaoning, flanked by 40 other warships and submarines, conducting unprecedented live-fire drills in the South China Sea.

This massive Chinese naval exercise was observed for the first time, with China watchers pointing out that such a forceful display of deterrence was highly unusual for the People’s Liberation Army Navy. Perhaps in light of recent events, it was merely a warning.

Li Jie, a Beijing-based naval specialist, said, “it was the first time the Liaoning had taken part in live-fire drills. This will test the Liaoning’s real combat strength as well as joint-operations skills between the aircraft carrier and warships from other fleets.”

“China wants to show the outside world its determination to defend the fruits of its economic reforms over the past 40 years,” Beijing-based military analyst Zhou Chenming said.“Like the US, China’s military might is one of the government’s political tools to protect the country’s national interests.”…

California May Elect A Republican Governor, Incredible As That Sounds – Newt Gingrich
.

.
John Cox is doing something remarkable for a Republican. A recent survey indicates he is now within striking distance of being elected governor of the infamously liberal state in November.

According to the Public Policy Institute of California, Cox (who I greatly respect and have worked with for years) has been gaining support since January and is now the second-place pick for governor among likely California primary voters. This puts him right behind the leading Democrat and represents a great potential for Cox to win the governorship seven months from now.

The poll result is important because California’s primary system for congressional and statewide elections is unusual…

Male Colorado Democrat Has Penchant for Ladies’ Bathroom – Washington Free Beacon

A Democratic state senator in Colorado, who is a man, “frequently” enters the women’s bathroom, contradicting his claim that he only accidentally used the ladies room once.

A recording between the state senate secretary and the Colorado State Patrol, obtained through a records request by the conservative nonprofit Compass Colorado, revealed Sen. Daniel Kagan’s visits made his female colleagues uncomfortable.

Last month, Sen. Beth Martinez Humenik filed a workplace sexual harassment complaint against Kagan for using the women’s bathroom “multiple times.”

“I confronted him in the bathroom itself and said, ‘What are you doing in here?'” Martinez Humenik told KUNC, a public radio station. “Then, as we were walking out, I said, ‘It’s not OK for you to be here. I don’t want to see you here again.'”

Two other female staffers had “similar experiences,” according to Martinez Humenik. Another legislator, Sen. Owen Hill, said he saw Kagan in the women’s bathroom when he was taking his two young daughters to the facilities last year…

Marines Thrilled With Sniper Upgrade; Rifle Promises ‘Certain Doom’ For Enemies – Washington Times
.

.
The sniper rifle that aided U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War will soon be replaced with a weapon better suited for modern conflicts.

The M40 system and its nearly 1,000-yard range is no longer the preferred option for the Marine Corps in a security environment where 1,300 yards are needed to accomplish missions. Military officials heard the complaint from enough war fighters that scout snipers will soon carry the Mk 13 Mod 7 along with its .300 Winchester Magnum rounds.

The shift, which Marine spokesperson Capt. Christopher Harrison recently confirmed with Marine Corps Times, was hailed by one sniper as a “long time coming.” The popular military website Task & Purpose also touted the decision with a piece on Tuesday titled “The Marine Corps Is Finally Getting The Sniper Rifle It Deserves.”…

Facebook Admits ‘Most’ Of Site’s 2 Billion Users Compromised By ‘Malicious Actors’ – Breitbart

Facebook has admitted in an announcement that most of its 2 billion users may have been compromised by “malicious actors.”

CommonDreams.com reports that Facebook has admitted that more user accounts may have been compromised than those announced during the company’s most recent data scandal. Initial reports stated that approximately 51 million accounts were allegedly targeted in the Cambridge Analytica user data scandal,

Facebook later clarified after an internal audit that the number was closer to 87 million, but it now seems that the company has admitted after further research that nearly all of Facebook’s 2 billion accounts could have users personal info scraped from them by a variety of “malicious actors.”

WIRED journalist Matt Burgess noted that Facebook’s last statement on the data scandal briefly mentioned that “most” of the site’s two billion users had personal info scraped from their Facebook profiles by “malicious actors.”…

Train Carrying 10 Million Pounds Of Human Feces Stranded In Alabama Train Yard For Two Months – The Drive
.

.
Hopefully, if you’re reading this, you live far from the town of Parrish, Alabama. Because if you’re not, that means that you’re probably tired of smelling the 10 million pounds of human feces that have been stranded in a local rail yard for over two months.

And to make matters worse, it’s not even from residents who live in the town, because it would take the entire population of 982 residents over 27 years to collectively produce that amount of waste. It’s actually coming down the pike from waste management facilities in the northeastern U.S., namely New York and New Jersey, in large containers labeled “EPIC.” Local agencies struck up contracts with a private landfill 25 miles southeast in Adamsville.

Apparently, neighboring towns of Adamsville have had it with the waste shipments as well…

Over A Million Illegal Aliens Issued California Driver’s Licenses – Zero Hedge

California has issued over a million driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants over the past three years, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Following the passage of Assembly Bill 60 which went into effect January 1, 2015, the California Department of Motor Vehicles has granted 1,001,000 illegal immigrants licenses as of March 31, according to a Wednesday announcement by the DMV.

The bill, entitled “The Safe and Responsible Drivers Act” authored by then-Assemblyman Luis Alejo in 2013, was meant to help illegal immigrants “get to work, drive their children to school, and run everyday errands without the fear of being pulled over,” according to DriveCA.

An applicant who does not have proof of lawful presence can receive an AB 60 license. An AB 60 license will have a visible distinguishing feature and cannot be used for certain federal purposes, such as to enter restricted areas of federal facilities…

10 Different Reasons The Mueller Investigation Is Unconstitutional – Joe Hoft
.

.
The Mueller investigation is criminal and corrupt and above all unconstitutional. Here is a list of 10 reasons why the Mueller investigation is unconstitutional.

1. Rosenstein’s special counsel order identifies collusion as the crime but no such crime exists in U.S. Law.

Gregg Jarrett at FOX News wrote when Mueller initially brought charges against Manafort that Mueller is tasked with finding a crime that does not exist in the law. It is a legal impossibility. He is being asked to do something that is manifestly unattainable because there is no such thing as the crime of collusion with foreign countries in the US statutory code.

Jarrett wrote the most succinct article about the Trump – Russia Collusion investigation to date…
